I ordered the ao called night vision binoculars. After three montjs of nothing and emailing them continuously, they finally sent a cheap pair of kid like binoculars that are not even night vision. For the price I didn't expect top of the line night vision, but I certainly didn't expect to get a pair of cheap kid binoculars. I had my credit card co flag them as fraud.
I ordered night vision binoculars and got a totally different very cheap looking pair that were not night vision.They were not even close to what was advertised.

Hobbies discount is cheating their customer with wrong and inappropriate information, when it come to charge you the amount of product you do not face any issues, however once u complete the transaction when it comes to contact them and to delivery of your products they never revert, and give you wrong information. On 11/6/16 I purchased a Remote Controlled Flying Shark for $39.95 after seeing an ad on the Internet. Delivery was to be in 4-6 weeks. After 6weeks I emailed that the product did not arrive. It finally arrived on January 6, 2017 in a box that was crushed. The product was non useable. As their website promises 100% satisfaction, I emailed them (using original receipt acceptance). No response. I went to website and clicked refund link....no longer useable. They took my money and sent me a damaged product. They then willingly do not respond or activate refund link. They are, however, still selling products through their website. The Flying Shark is no longer listed as a product leading me to believe there were many problems with it and instead of accepting responsibility for it, have chosen to remain silent. My order #48562.
On November 10, 2016, I ordered high powered waterproof night vision binoculars from Hobbies Discount. My credit card was charged immediately. It was not until I demanded my money back that I received a tracking number.
I finally received the binoculars - 11 weeks and 1 day later. The binoculars I received are a crappy pair of regular binoculars, not the high powered waterproof night vision binoculars I ordered. I have again demanded my money back and, as is to be expected, have received no response.
On november 15th i went on facebook and read an ad for remote controlled air fish ,shark and clown fish i decided to order the clown fish for my grand daughter who is 6 years old . bought and paid for product out of my bank account . in december i submitted to this company that i wished to know when they would ship it out hoping it would get there before Christmas day the company in question sent me an e-mail from Chris Oliver a spokesman for hobbies discount that due to large amount of orders could i give them 15 days to ship it out . i being fair said yes but told them i was dissatisfied , in the later part of december i asked again wheres my order the reply from oliver was could i give them 30 more days to ship it out . it was bought and paid for on november 15th here it is january 26th and no product or refund and no comunication from this indivigual or company . i was scamed out of 40 dollars as i see it .

I placed an order for a gift before Christmas and received two emails since that have told me they are getting ready to ship my order- it's been well over a month. I sent three emails asking for the status of the delivery with no reponse. The 'tracking' number they embedded in their notes to me doen't link to anything. After reading other posts on this company, I can see where this is probably going. Very disappointed. Will update if anything changes. I'll just say they picked the wrong person if they're trying to scam.
Before Christmas last year, I saw an advertisement for this company Hobbies Discount on the internet. They were selling large fish shape ballons filled with helium and capable to be directed while floating in the air. I thought this would make a great gift for my niece and purchase one of the fishes, they had a clown fish or a shark. I slected the clown fish and paid online using a credit card. The order was acknoledge with an e-mail and an order number given onthe e-mail. Closer to Christmas I received another e-mail saying the order would ship in 2 weeks which would be after Chirstmas.
I never received my order and I never received a response to my many e-mails to the [email protected] or the one e-mail address listed on the e-mail about the shipping.
I feel they have taken for an idiot on this one and the worse part is that my niece never got her gift.
This company is a rip-off. Ordered flying shark Dec. 10th 2016. They charged my CC same day. Never received the product I have emailed MANY times and posted on their FB page with no response. Origianlly received an email saying my parcel would arrive in 2-3 weeks. They will not respond to request for information on where my order is. I checked my CC statement and it shows the charges were under scorediscount.com. Checked that site and it looks exactly like hobbies discount site. Checked the bottom of the first email and it shows an address in Vancouver, BC. Made a dispute today. My CC company had a number to call and they said it goes to a voicemail.
I ordered a Flying Shark from Hobbies Discount on 12/22/16. I sent an email 1/12/17 to get an update on the status of my order.....no response or the item received. I contacted my credit card company and luckily they credited me for this ripoff.
On December 29th we ordered two lighsabres from this company. We were also charged twice and I was told that a refund was given.
On January 2nd I received an email saying they were on the way and please allow 2-3 weeks for your order to arrive. I checked my bank account and no refund was given for the second set of sabres. So I emailed them again on January 17th asking them about the refund and why my order still said processing when I received an email saying it was on its way to me.
As of today January 23rd I have to receive the product, my refund or a response back to them. I went on line and noticed a lot of people had the same compaints as us. They can keep the product I just want my money back and for them to be shut down for scamming a ton of people.

I placed an order back on November 5, 2016 for a golf rangefinder and have constantly been trying to communicate with the company and continue to get the run around from Chris Oliver. He has stated that these were backordered and should be shipped within a couple of weeks. The order does not show up on the website and no phone number to follow up on. Numerous emails have gotten me nowhere including no refund. This is a scam and this company should be put out of business and refunds generarted.

I almost bought 3 of them thinking of giving them as gifts.
Order the air swimmer shark helium balloon on 11/17/2016. Nowhere was there ever any indication that this product was coming from China, however the week before Christmas I started a persistent email campaign to attempt to get my merchandise by Christmas. Of course Christmas came and went. I had even purchased a helium tank to add to this phantom gift. They never responded to any of my emails.
Aound the end of December, I was angry and fired off a message that if they did not send me a tracking number, I would go to my bank and reverse the charges. It was then I received a short response begging for my patience and promising they would deliver in 15 days and could tell by the broken English that I was dealing with a Chinese company. I waited 15 days until my nect day off work and still no response to any further emails or package so I went to the bank. Unfortunately it was the MLK holiday and could not get the charge reversed.
Today, 01/23/17, my day off, I was prepared to go to the bank but right at 9 AM my mail was delivered and the package had arrived.
So am I just complaining about poor communication and service? Oh no! This piece of junk is definitely not what was pictured on the internet. It is flimsy and poorly made. The fins are sheer plastic that rips and tears trying to put them in place and they do not fit properly - but perhaps the poor fit is because the fish body I received was the Nemo fish with the shark fins. But even still the fins are nothing like the pictures. This is nothing but a crappy mylar balloon. The tiny plastic motor is attached by little sticky tapes that don't stick to the body well but stick horribly well to the fins and tear them if you try to remove. Last the little motor is still to heavy to maneuver the balloon. It sinks to the ground - and yes we fully inflated the balloon.
The whoe thing is going in the trash and I am chalking this up to an unpleasant lesson learned at $40. But I won't go out quietly. I've warned in as many places as possible (they remove negative comments from their FB page) and I will see the bank in the morning to request a reversal of the charges, which I don't think will work now that I've actually received the 'product'.
I mistakenly ordered 2 remote control sharks on 25 December. I wanted 2 Nemo fish but I erred in my selection in the dropdown box. I was notified on the 26th that my 2 shark order was being processed. I immediately notified them via Facebook that I erred in my order, please change my order to 2 Nemo fish, and notify me that the change had occurred. No response to my e-mails on the 28 and 31 Dec and my 4 Jan e-mail to change the order. I received the order on 18 January and of course it was shark remote fish. The order was NEVER changed, and they never responded to those e-mails. I immediately sent an e-mail to Chris Oliver and finally received a response from him on the 21st of January saying Hobbies Discount does not accept exchanges or returns unless the item purchased is defective. And then you have to take photos and send them in so THEY can determine if the item is defective. And, YOU pay all return shipping.
Without a doubt, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with and I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. It is obvious that this sleezy company does this all the time as the Ripoff Website is FILLED with Hobbies Discount complaints.
On December 12, 2016, I ordered Air swimmers Remote control Flying Shark from Hobbies Discount which was advertising on Facebook. I got an order number and an estimated arrival of 2-3 weeks. This was supposed to be our grandsons birthday gift. Not having received the gift, I e mailed this company, and got a response two days later from a Chris Oliver, asking for patience and that it should be arriving soo. We'll, it is now January 22 and still no show. I even mailed this Chris Oliver and accused him of this being a scam. He apologized , asking for patience, and it should be arriving in 30 days!! It was being shipped from a foreign country! We checked BBB and came on this site, read about other complaints about this "company". We notified our cc company and they took care of it. They are aware of this so called company now.
I placed an order with Chris Oliver in Nov. 2016 and the order was confirned the same day. When the order didnot arrive for Christmas, I sent Chris Oliver the first of many email askiing when to expect my merchandice and each time I was told, "Please give it 15 more days". That was 45 days ago. I emailed him today to cancel the order and refund my money.
I doubt I'll ever see either they merchandice or my money, lesson learned :(

I ordered 2X highpowered waterproof night vision binoculars. Advertised at $49.95 and free shipping. I ordered 2 of these on 12/13/16. Received an email on 12/23/16 that they will be shipped within 2-3weeks and to allow this allotted time frame before contacting. Received another email on 1/4/17 saying the exact same thing. Finally received my order 1/18/17. They are not at all what I ordered. They are very poor quality and with no night vision capability nor are they waterproof. I cannot seem to get intouch with this company. TERRIBLE!!!

After sending numerous complaint emails (of which I kept) to find out what was going on with my order, I finally received in today's mail (Jan. 18, 2017), a pair of binoculars from China with the following description on the side of the box which read, "Magnification of: '.10'.12' zoom, Objective lens diameter: 25mm, Coating type: Multi-coated, Size class: Compact, Close focus: 3.0m and Field of view: Wide angle 65 deg." This is not what I ordered and paid for! Now I just found out that this entity, Hobbies Discount has been running a scam.during the pre-Christmas time frame. As of this evening, I sent another email to Chris of Hobbies Discount informing him of this lesser product and sternly telling him that either he needs to send what I had originally ordered or reimburse me with a cashiers' check for $59.50. It was only after the fact that I found out on the Hobbies Discount that a reimbursement is only given the same way that the item was originally paid for. In my case that would be a VISA credit card. They also have the nerve to say that 20% would be assessed to the paid amount, as a restocking fee. What a joke!

I ordered 2 remote controlled balloon fish for $80. I never received my items and despite several attempts to contact the company, received no response. There is no phone listed, or physical address. They do not supply a tracking number for shipping, as it 'increases the cost of shipping'. They do not respond on Facebook although it says they are alwasy available.

I ordered 2 balloon fish on Nov 7th. They charge my card, but never shipped the product. I have emailed them and messaged them on FB, to no avail.
I called up another company that I THOUGHT was Hobbies Discount, but it was actually a legitimate store called Discount Hobby in NY. These are not the same people!! They say they have gotten MANY calls about the same problem, and that Hobbies Discount needs to be stopped because they are ripping off hundreds of people.

I bought two pair as christmas presents on dec. 3rd and got a confirmation email that my order was complete and would ship within 3-4 weeks. I was bummed because i wasn't sure they would be delivered in time for the holiday. So, i waited and after 3 weeks i got another email saying that my order had shipped and i should expect it in the next 1-2 weeks. I waited more and on 1/2/17 i sent an email requesting a status on my order. I never got a response. I sent another email on 1/9 and finally got a response that there were problems with the overseas customs office and that the order would take another 30 days. I then replied to cancel my order and i searched the internet for reviews on hobbies discount and found a bunch of negative charges against them - including similar complaints on Outscam. Anyway, i would not do business with this company again. I am contacting my credit card company to file for a refund on this.
I had ordered 2 costumes for Oktoberfest. I had to email the company 3 times before they replied. Then I had to email them back another 3 times before 1 of my costumes finally showed up! They never shipped the 2nd costume and it took 9 weeks to get the 1st one. I have tried to email them about 12 times total. They respond about every 3rd one and it is a generic email that says the same as the last. I ordered the costumes on Oct. 6th and here it is Jan. 11th, STILL, NO COSTUME! On november 28, 2016 i saw hobbies discount's facebook ad featuring a air swimmers remote control flying shark. I thought this would be perfect to two boys on our christmas list. I placed my order and received an order confirmation on dec. 1, 2016 advising that i would receive my order in 14 to 21 days. They charged my visa that same day. I thought although 21 days would be cutting it close for christmas i was pleased to have found the product as the shark was totally unique. On dec. 21 i realized that the sharks had yet to arrive. The website had my order "in process" - after 24 days...The message i received back told me that i would have my order "very soon." i advised that this was truly disappointing as i planned on having the sharks for christmas. No response. Yesterday, jan. 2, 2017 i logged on to the website only to see that my order was "in transit" as of dec. 23, 2016. There is no tracking information, not a hint of delivery dates and no further information. I called visa to dispute the charges advising i believe i have been scammed and that hobbies discount is a fraudulent company. I messaged them again with no timely response. I found when i googled a way to contact the company. There are several reports about their bad business practices as well as disappointed consumers like me.

On November 30th, I received an e-mail saying due to high demand allow up to 4 weeks for delivery....but if I had not received them in 4 weeks, contact them. After viewing your website, unfortunately I see them listed several times on other 'ripoff' claims.
I ordered two Bavarian Mascot Costume on September 23, 2016. They stated due to high demand that they were back ordering the costumes. They even went as far as providing me a USPS tracking number, that once it cleared that it would become active.

I ordered a high powered night vision and water proof binoculars for 59.00 and received a small cheap binoculars.
Hobbies discount is cheating their customer with wrong and inappropriate information, when it come to charge you the amount of product you do not face any issues, however once u complete the transaction when it comes to contact them and to delivery of your products they never revert, and give you wrong information. I ordered product online and its been a month there is no answer from them .Please take some actions against these kind of fraudent companies who are simply cheating people online.
On 11/6/16 I purchased a Remote Controlled Flying Shark for $39.95 after seeing an ad on the Internet. Delivery was to be in 4-6 weeks. After 6weeks I emailed that the product did not arrive. It finally arrived on January 6, 2017 in a box that was crushed. The product was non useable. As their website promises 100% satisfaction, I emailed them (using original receipt acceptance). No response. I went to website and clicked refund link....no longer useable. They took my money and sent me a damaged product. They then willingly do not respond or activate refund link. They are, however, still selling products through their website. The Flying Shark is no longer listed as a product leading me to believe there were many problems with it and instead of accepting responsibility for it, have chosen to remain silent. My order #48562.
On November 10, 2016, I ordered high powered waterproof night vision binoculars from Hobbies Discount. My credit card was charged immediately. It was not until I demanded my money back that I received a tracking number.
I finally received the binoculars - 11 weeks and 1 day later. The binoculars I received are a crappy pair of regular binoculars, not the high powered waterproof night vision binoculars I ordered. I have again demanded my money back and, as is to be expected, have received no response.

On november 15th i went on facebook and read an ad for remote controlled air fish ,shark and clown fish i decided to order the clown fish for my grand daughter who is 6 years old . bought and paid for product out of my bank account . in december i submitted to this company that i wished to know when they would ship it out hoping it would get there before Christmas day the company in question sent me an e-mail from Chris Oliver a spokesman for hobbies discount that due to large amount of orders could i give them 15 days to ship it out . i being fair said yes but told them i was dissatisfied , in the later part of december i asked again wheres my order the reply from oliver was could i give them 30 more days to ship it out . it was bought and paid for on november 15th here it is january 26th and no product or refund and no comunication from this indivigual or company . i was scamed out of 40 dollars as i see it .
I ordered to helium fish from this company in December and my credit card was charged immediately. I never received the product and have sent them emails and FB messages with absolutely no response.

I ordered night vision binoculors for 55.00 which they said they were 200.00 worth and waited 2 months only to get a cheap pair of kids binoculors which sell for 38.00 online.
I placed an order for a gift before Christmas and received two emails since that have told me they are getting ready to ship my order- it's been well over a month. I sent three emails asking for the status of the delivery with no reponse. The 'tracking' number they embedded in their notes to me doen't link to anything. After reading other posts on this company, I can see where this is probably going. Very disappointed. Will update if anything changes. I'll just say they picked the wrong person if they're trying to scam.
Before Christmas last year, I saw an advertisement for this company Hobbies Discount on the internet. They were selling large fish shape ballons filled with helium and capable to be directed while floating in the air. I thought this would make a great gift for my niece and purchase one of the fishes, they had a clown fish or a shark. I slected the clown fish and paid online using a credit card. The order was acknoledge with an e-mail and an order number given onthe e-mail. Closer to Christmas I received another e-mail saying the order would ship in 2 weeks which would be after Chirstmas.
I never received my order and I never received a response to my many e-mails to the [email protected] or the one e-mail address listed on the e-mail about the shipping.
I feel they have taken for an idiot on this one and the worse part is that my niece never got her gift.
This company is a rip-off. Ordered flying shark Dec. 10th 2016. They charged my CC same day. Never received the product I have emailed MANY times and posted on their FB page with no response. Origianlly received an email saying my parcel would arrive in 2-3 weeks. They will not respond to request for information on where my order is. I checked my CC statement and it shows the charges were under scorediscount.com. Checked that site and it looks exactly like hobbies discount site. Checked the bottom of the first email and it shows an address in Vancouver, BC. Made a dispute today. My CC company had a number to call and they said it goes to a voicemail.
Hobbies discounts I ordered two banaculers for $49 each and never got them. I emailed them five times no response from them.
I ordered a Flying Shark from Hobbies Discount on 12/22/16. I sent an email 1/12/17 to get an update on the status of my order.....no response or the item received. I contacted my credit card company and luckily they credited me for this ripoff.
On December 29th we ordered two lighsabres from this company. We were also charged twice and I was told that a refund was given.
On January 2nd I received an email saying they were on the way and please allow 2-3 weeks for your order to arrive. I checked my bank account and no refund was given for the second set of sabres. So I emailed them again on January 17th asking them about the refund and why my order still said processing when I received an email saying it was on its way to me.
As of today January 23rd I have to receive the product, my refund or a response back to them. I went on line and noticed a lot of people had the same compaints as us. They can keep the product I just want my money back and for them to be shut down for scamming a ton of people.
Ordered night vision binoculars on Dec. 4, 2016. After several inquiries via email, finally received them last week. They are just a regular pair of binoculars, certainly not night vision. They were shipped from China which is why they took so long. Apparently email responses are the same for everyone. Wished I would have looked into them before I ordered, but I trusted Facebook. Big Mistake. Keep away from them.
I placed an order back on November 5, 2016 for a golf rangefinder and have constantly been trying to communicate with the company and continue to get the run around from Chris Oliver. He has stated that these were backordered and should be shipped within a couple of weeks. The order does not show up on the website and no phone number to follow up on. Numerous emails have gotten me nowhere including no refund. This is a scam and this company should be put out of business and refunds generarted.
Placed an order on 11/15/16 for an umbrella. Christmas came and went with no sign of the order being shipped etc. Attempted contact via their website. Attempted contact via email. Attempted contact via facebook page. Provided order number and everything. No response what so ever. At this point it is 1/23/17 and I am out $40. I am SO glad I decided not to order more. I almost bought 3 of them thinking of giving them as gifts.
Order the air swimmer shark helium balloon on 11/17/2016. Nowhere was there ever any indication that this product was coming from China, however the week before Christmas I started a persistent email campaign to attempt to get my merchandise by Christmas. Of course Christmas came and went. I had even purchased a helium tank to add to this phantom gift. They never responded to any of my emails.
Aound the end of December, I was angry and fired off a message that if they did not send me a tracking number, I would go to my bank and reverse the charges. It was then I received a short response begging for my patience and promising they would deliver in 15 days and could tell by the broken English that I was dealing with a Chinese company. I waited 15 days until my nect day off work and still no response to any further emails or package so I went to the bank. Unfortunately it was the MLK holiday and could not get the charge reversed.
Today, 01/23/17, my day off, I was prepared to go to the bank but right at 9 AM my mail was delivered and the package had arrived.
So am I just complaining about poor communication and service? Oh no! This piece of junk is definitely not what was pictured on the internet. It is flimsy and poorly made. The fins are sheer plastic that rips and tears trying to put them in place and they do not fit properly - but perhaps the poor fit is because the fish body I received was the Nemo fish with the shark fins. But even still the fins are nothing like the pictures. This is nothing but a crappy mylar balloon. The tiny plastic motor is attached by little sticky tapes that don't stick to the body well but stick horribly well to the fins and tear them if you try to remove. Last the little motor is still to heavy to maneuver the balloon. It sinks to the ground - and yes we fully inflated the balloon.
The whoe thing is going in the trash and I am chalking this up to an unpleasant lesson learned at $40. But I won't go out quietly. I've warned in as many places as possible (they remove negative comments from their FB page) and I will see the bank in the morning to request a reversal of the charges, which I don't think will work now that I've actually received the 'product'.
I mistakenly ordered 2 remote control sharks on 25 December. I wanted 2 Nemo fish but I erred in my selection in the dropdown box. I was notified on the 26th that my 2 shark order was being processed. I immediately notified them via Facebook that I erred in my order, please change my order to 2 Nemo fish, and notify me that the change had occurred. No response to my e-mails on the 28 and 31 Dec and my 4 Jan e-mail to change the order. I received the order on 18 January and of course it was shark remote fish. The order was NEVER changed, and they never responded to those e-mails. I immediately sent an e-mail to Chris Oliver and finally received a response from him on the 21st of January saying Hobbies Discount does not accept exchanges or returns unless the item purchased is defective. And then you have to take photos and send them in so THEY can determine if the item is defective. And, YOU pay all return shipping.
Without a doubt, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with and I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. It is obvious that this sleezy company does this all the time as the Ripoff Website is FILLED with Hobbies Discount complaints.
On December 12, 2016, I ordered Air swimmers Remote control Flying Shark from Hobbies Discount which was advertising on Facebook. I got an order number and an estimated arrival of 2-3 weeks. This was supposed to be our grandsons birthday gift. Not having received the gift, I e mailed this company, and got a response two days later from a Chris Oliver, asking for patience and that it should be arriving soo. We'll, it is now January 22 and still no show. I even mailed this Chris Oliver and accused him of this being a scam. He apologized , asking for patience, and it should be arriving in 30 days!! It was being shipped from a foreign country! We checked BBB and came on this site, read about other complaints about this "company". We notified our cc company and they took care of it. They are aware of this so called company now.
I placed an order with Chris Oliver in Nov. 2016 and the order was confirned the same day. When the order didnot arrive for Christmas, I sent Chris Oliver the first of many email askiing when to expect my merchandice and each time I was told, "Please give it 15 more days". That was 45 days ago. I emailed him today to cancel the order and refund my money.
I doubt I'll ever see either they merchandice or my money, lesson learned :(
I made a purchase from this website back in October. In December I contacted them to query where my item was and they asked me to wait another 15 days and to 'rest assured it would arrive within the timeframe'. 10 weeks later and I still don't have my item and they haven't responded to any of my emails or comments through website. Finally after repeated threats I recieved a pair of regular ,cheap shoddy binoculars that I could not use. I emailed Hobbies Discount about the binoculars and I was told and I quote:

I ordered 2X highpowered waterproof night vision binoculars. Advertised at $49.95 and free shipping. I ordered 2 of these on 12/13/16. Received an email on 12/23/16 that they will be shipped within 2-3weeks and to allow this allotted time frame before contacting. Received another email on 1/4/17 saying the exact same thing. Finally received my order 1/18/17. They are not at all what I ordered. They are very poor quality and with no night vision capability nor are they waterproof. I cannot seem to get intouch with this company. TERRIBLE!!!

The Hobbies Discount confirmation # was 'order #52730' and sent to me via email on Sun, Nov 13, 2016 at 11:39 A.M. After sending numerous complaint emails (of which I kept) to find out what was going on with my order, I finally received in today's mail (Jan. 18, 2017), a pair of binoculars from China with the following description on the side of the box which read, "Magnification of: '.10'.12' zoom, Objective lens diameter: 25mm, Coating type: Multi-coated, Size class: Compact, Close focus: 3.0m and Field of view: Wide angle 65 deg." This is not what I ordered and paid for! Now I just found out that this entity, Hobbies Discount has been running a scam.during the pre-Christmas time frame. At no time did I come across any postings on Face Book informing me of this scam. As of this evening, I sent another email to Chris of Hobbies Discount informing him of this lesser product and sternly telling him that either he needs to send what I had originally ordered or reimburse me with a cashiers' check for $59.50. It was only after the fact that I found out on the Hobbies Discount that a reimbursement is only given the same way that the item was originally paid for. In my case that would be a VISA credit card. They also have the nerve to say that 20% would be assessed to the paid amount, as a restocking fee. What a joke!
After reading Facebook and web I found out this place is a SCAM, do not buy from them. I am working with the Bank to get my money back.
I have yet to see the night vision binoculars I ordered. They send me notification on 12/13/2016 that I would be recieving the order in two weeks and still nothing. No contact number or replies to my emails.

Oct. 20 2016 ordered 2 pair of night binoculars from Hobbies Discount for $109.90 through Facebook ad.
My credit card was immediately charged by Score Discount. Received confirmation order was shipped on Nov.2nd from Hobbies Discount. To this day I have not received my order.

I ordered a air swimmer remote controll shark from Hobbiesdiscount on 12/16/16. Got a email on 12/19 that my package is in its way and be 2 -3 weeks . Week latter I ordered the clownfish air swimmer,cuz looked so cool, got email telling me my package has been shipped and expect it in 2-3 weeks. Today I got the clownfish I ordered on Christmas Day . I ordered 2 remote controlled balloon fish for $80. I never received my items and despite several attempts to contact the company, received no response. There is no phone listed, or physical address. They do not supply a tracking number for shipping, as it 'increases the cost of shipping'. They do not respond on Facebook although it says they are alwasy available.
I purchased two swimming sharks. Hobbies Discount as advertised on Facebook for $39.95 and free shipping. I received an order confirmation. I then received an order confirmation email which stated it would be shipped in 2-3 weeks and to: "Please allow for this timeframe before emailing us back." We're now 5 weeks past date, I immediately emailed them after week 3. No response. I messaged them on FB. No response. I emailed and messaged them again.

Still no refund our response to that email. I've disputed my CC charge.
I ordered 2 balloon fish on Nov 7th. They charge my card, but never shipped the product. I have emailed them and messaged them on FB, to no avail.
I called up another company that I THOUGHT was Hobbies Discount, but it was actually a legitimate store called Discount Hobby in NY. These are not the same people!! They say they have gotten MANY calls about the same problem, and that Hobbies Discount needs to be stopped because they are ripping off hundreds of people.
HobbiesDiscount.net is a scam and they need to be shutdown.
I was pulled in by an ad on facebook to purchase some nightvision binoculars from hobbies discount. I bought two pair as christmas presents on dec. 3rd and got a confirmation email that my order was complete and would ship within 3-4 weeks. I was bummed because i wasn't sure they would be delivered in time for the holiday. So, i waited and after 3 weeks i got another email saying that my order had shipped and i should expect it in the next 1-2 weeks. I waited more and on 1/2/17 i sent an email requesting a status on my order. I never got a response. I sent another email on 1/9 and finally got a response that there were problems with the overseas customs office and that the order would take another 30 days. I then replied to cancel my order and i searched the internet for reviews on hobbies discount and found a bunch of negative charges against them - including similar complaints on Outscam. Anyway, i would not do business with this company again. I am contacting my credit card company to file for a refund on this.
I had ordered 2 costumes for Oktoberfest. I had to email the company 3 times before they replied. Then I had to email them back another 3 times before 1 of my costumes finally showed up! They never shipped the 2nd costume and it took 9 weeks to get the 1st one. I have tried to email them about 12 times total. They respond about every 3rd one and it is a generic email that says the same as the last. I ordered the costumes on Oct. 6th and here it is Jan. 11th, STILL, NO COSTUME! The 1st one they sent was a piece of junk and shipped in a burlap bag completely wrapped in clear packaging tape! Shockingly, I sent them a picture of the package and have never heard anything else back from them.
I hope some people look up this company before they "try" and make a purchase. The only thing they will receive from this company is a lower bank account balance! Completely a fraud and not worth the headache!!

Hobbies Discount has had my order since December 12th and as of todaY I have not received my order. I have corresponded with them thru emails and facebook messages as they recommended. I finally received an email from a ChrisOliver [?] and told me to be patient and wait another 2-3 weeks before contacting him again. This is the worst, deceitful company. It seems they take your money -twice in my case- and have no intention of shipping product. There is NO customer service and the tracking information is useless as all it is a recap of the purchase. This company needs to be shut down and its priniciples made to pay retribution from jail!!
On november 28, 2016 i saw hobbies discount's facebook ad featuring a air swimmers remote control flying shark. I thought this would be perfect to two boys on our christmas list. I placed my order and received an order confirmation on dec. 1, 2016 advising that i would receive my order in 14 to 21 days. They charged my visa that same day. I thought although 21 days would be cutting it close for christmas i was pleased to have found the product as the shark was totally unique. On dec. 21 i realized that the sharks had yet to arrive. I logged onto the website to find a phone number or a way to contact hobbies discount. Nothing. I went to their fb page and sent a message as well as twitter. The website had my order "in process" - after 24 days...The message i received back told me that i would have my order "very soon." i advised that this was truly disappointing as i planned on having the sharks for christmas. No response. Yesterday, jan. 2, 2017 i logged on to the website only to see that my order was "in transit" as of dec. 23, 2016. There is no tracking information, not a hint of delivery dates and no further information. I called visa to dispute the charges advising i believe i have been scammed and that hobbies discount is a fraudulent company. I messaged them again with no timely response. I found when i googled a way to contact the company. There are several reports about their bad business practices as well as disappointed consumers like me.

On November 13th I ordered two umbrellas from hobbiesdiscount.com. I noticed they were charged seperately on my credit card bill ($31.96 and $39.95 to scorediscount.com phone no. 7789858557 BC). On November 30th, I received an e-mail saying due to high demand allow up to 4 weeks for delivery....but if I had not received them in 4 weeks, contact them. I did not receive them so I e-mailed an inquiry regarding the order (#52818). I have never heard back and can locate no futher information on this company. After viewing your website, unfortunately I see them listed several times on other 'ripoff' claims.
I ordered two Bavarian Mascot Costume on September 23, 2016. They stated due to high demand that they were back ordering the costumes. They even went as far as providing me a USPS tracking number, that once it cleared that it would become active.
Total scam - I don't even have a live number or address from the company. I will be contacting my credit card company to see how much I can recover.
