I ordered 2 air swimmers for my 3 and 4 year old on 12/05/16. They immediately charged my card and sent a confirmation email with tracking information from USPS. After about 2 weeks I logged in to see where the package was. The tracking number given on the email was invalid. I then emailed them at the email address provided and no response.
I have now emailed 4 times and have yet to get the product or a response from Hobbies Discount. After some research I have realized i am not alone. If you facebook search Hobbies Discount you'll see they have started a Scam Awareness Page for all the people they have taken advantage of this holiday season.
Please save your money & time and stay away from Hobbies discount and their other site Score Discount Fishing supplies.

On november 28th we got an email stating our order had been shipped and we should see it in 2 to 3 weeks. It is now the last day of december and we still have received nothing. They don't issue tracking numbers for some odd reason other then to rip people off.

After seeing an ad for the Shark Air Swimmer and Clown Fish on Facebook from Hobbie Discount, I ordered 3 of each at $39.95 for a total of $239.70. I received an order confirmationand and invoice/payment verification, which stated the product would be shipped in two to three weeks.
I checked the order status a few weeks later, which said items were still in processing. The next order status update said that the items had been shipped from LA on Dec. 17 and gave 2 USPS tracking numbers, which were fraudulant. The company has no phone contact information and does not respond to email inquiries. There are many complaints concerning non-delivery and Yahoo has reported the company as a Facebook Feed scam. I've contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. I should have known better and done my research before ordering because I was scammed!

It is advertised as a military grade flashlight. This product did arrive but its quality is so poor. It doesn't work and has design issues. It is cheaply made and the light intensity is no where near what it is advertised to be. I asked for a refund but as yet have had no response. The second product are supposedly 'night vision' binoculars. As yet this product has still not arrived. I think I got scammed but more dissapointly my son was very upset. There should be some sort of verifiable register that hold internet based companies accountable for their actions so they cannot do this type of behaviour.

I got scammed. I was Christmas shopping online last night and saw on FACEBOOK the ad for these floating sharks. Thought it was so cool so bought 3 of them for our kids. Well, there is no phone # to check the order status. There is no response to the email they provide. There is no real Tracking like UPS or FEDEX.

After leaving comments of calling them frauds & rip-offs, they made it so I can no longer leave a comment, like someone elses comments, or even like their comments. Pushed the right buttons I guess. I can't even warn the masses of their rip-off tactics. Pity.
They have no phone number listed on their website, only emailing to contact them. $120 is what they ripped me off of. My next step is to bring criminal fraud, bank fraud, and ATM card fraud charges with the local authorities. I am also going to report to the Attorney's General office. Facebook has been informed, but I don't see what they can do other than close their crooked page. These were surprise Christmas gifts for my sons. Hobbies Discount should be ashamed doing this and worst, doing it at Christmas. Money is hard to come by so this is a downer to say the least.

Purchased 2 items from this company. They send an email stating item will be delivered in 2-3 weeks. That was dec 2nd. They say don't contact before then. They do not respond to emails or texts or their Facebook page. Today is the night before xmas and the gifts were for my grandson. They are thieves
Placed an order, paid in full, I was given an order number followed by an invalid tracking number. No response on settling this matter. I have requested numerous times to either deliver the product or refund my money. This has been going on since November 28, 2016. No applicable response to my numerous emails, no telephone number to contact.
Ordered Helium remote control fish which was supposedly shipped On November 8th. Eta was 2-3 weeks. Next day got another email stating due to high volume it might take up to 4 weeks. Account charged along with a "foreign transaction fee". Item was needed for a December 10th birthday party. On 12-8 I started to email the company EVERY day since that date up until now. They replied once telling me To wait another 15 days even though I just finished telling them It was needed by the 10th. I have not received any other response or the item I needed By 12-10. I have filed a claim with my credit card company regarding these scammers. They should be held accountable for all the people they ripped Off...
I order night biocolurs and flash light and never recieved any of it....its been over a month. I have sent sererval emails and got nothing in return. i was charged for shipping and it simply states free shipping. RIP OFF

The s company is a complete scam! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. I bought an item over 8 weeks ago and it has never arrived. There is no number to call customer service and there is no response to any email inquiries- this company does not exist and I lost a substantial amount of money!!!!
That amount was debited from my bank account the next day by Score Discount. It is 12/22/16 now and I have not received the binoculars. I just emailed th company for a refund.
On November 19 I put in an order for three shark balloons and did not get the order in three weeks like the email confirmation said I would. This was my only gift between me and my husband and it totally ruined our Christmas. I sent several emails requesting a status but no return response was given. What a disappointment!
I ordered a remote control shark on Nov 27th and they sent an email on the 7th saying that it was on its way and 'do not contact us for shipping info, it will arrive in 1-2 weeks'. My account was charged in November. When I contacted them on the 22nd to see where my package was, they told me that the item was still in their warehouse waiting to be shipped. I have still not received my item.
Purchased a remote control shark from Hobbies Discount via Facebook on November 19, 2016. An email was sent to me on November 20th confirming the order. The money was taken off my credit card November 20th. Now it is December 23rd and the USPS number that was supplied via confirmation email is no good.
Stay far away from this company. I really want to go to the physical address because you can't call them. No phone numbers. That should have been my warning sign.

I saw an air swimmer toy advertised on FACEBOOK. It was $39.99 and it looked cool. I ordered it for a child that recently lost his father - hoping to get it by Christmas. I ordered it on November 30th, 2016 and paid for it using my credit card. Today it is December 23rd, 2016. I have sent several emails, because there is no phone number on their FB page or website BUT no one has replied !! Shame on them - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS AND YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID.
Remote controlled flying fish advertised on Facebook. Took the order and my money, sent a bogus follow up e mail that it was shipped...no trakcing, no detail. Complete BS...they took my $ - but nothing was ever delivered! Have to go through my bank to get my $ back.

I ordered two Christmas gifts 12 01 16 after seeing a Facebook add. 12 22 and nothing received. I need to ship to my relatives. This is embarrassing. No response from company. I emailed them twice. I may never get my order. Don't use this company. Poor service and likely a scam. The billing address on my card statement is totally different than the website I ordered from. My credit card company called to ask if I made the charges which is a bad sign. Sounds like they have had dealings with the company before.
Hobbies Discount (SCAM) - I ordered an item online on November 2016 and haven't received my item as of now (12/2016). I've requested a full refund and no response.
I ordered two night vision Binoculars for Christmas gifts for my friends on 12/14/2016. Never received product only a so call shipping letter saying Binoculars shipping out order number 53752 and order number 53674. Nothing else was ever mentioned and after two weeks I started to look for a way to call them. No phone number, no physical place of address, and email address, www.hobbiesdiscount.net comes back as not a valid email address. CAN YOU SAY SCAMMED!! I'M OUT $169 and no way to get it back, right at Christmas time. As far as I'm concerned Facebook is at fault also. They allowed Hobbies Discount to advertise on their website and should have at least made some attempt to ensure they were legit . A Lawsuit is in order. Facebook at least knows their contact information and phone number. How did they sell them an advertisement spot.
I ordered a remote control flying clown fish from a website called Hobbies Discount for my great neice. I saw the advertisement for this site on Facebook. I received an email confirming my order, and an email notice later with a USPS tracking number and statement that the item had been delivered. I never received the item.
About three weeks later someone began using my credit card to attempt to purchase things in another country. I had to have my card cancelled and a new one issued.
I got scammed. I was Christmas shopping online last night and saw on FACEBOOK the ad for these floating sharks. Thought it was so cool so bought 3 of them for our kids. Well, there is no phone # to check the order status. There is no response to the email they provide. There is no real Tracking like UPS or FEDEX.
I did research and saw numerous reports of fraud of this company and this particular toy.
Shame on FACEBOOK, too for not screening companies to be legitimate with higher ratings.

Apparently now a common ripoff. Hobbies Discount advertises on Facebook, accepts orders and processes payments, and when product doesn't arrive does not respond to emails showing order confirmation or to the phone number listed alongside the payment on the credit card bill. A scam and a ripoff.
I ordered a pair of night vision binoculars for my so. He was leaving to go to the Navy for 6 years. We ordered and plenty of time to have them here before we done our Christmas the Saturday before he left. I have asked for a phone number and an address they will not give it to me all they keep sending me is 15 more days. When I ordered it said please allow up to 4 weeks. This was the last Christmas I'll have with him for at least 6 years.they ruined my Christmas. They took my money and it was all I had so I was unable to get my only son anything for his last Christmas at home.
Ordered 2 air swimmers in November from Facebook ad for Christmas gifts for grandchildren...this RIPOFF company gladly charged my debit card the day I placed my order (11/19/2016) and then vanished. On November 25, 2016 I placed an order for two remote controlled air swimmers. My card was charged and on 12/5/2016 I then heard in an e-mail that my order would be arriving within one - two weeks from this date. Had I known my order was not goiing to arrive on time for Christmas, I never would have ordered it to begin with. It is now well over three weeks and I have no tracking number or any other recourse in getting my money refunded. Sadly, these were Christmas gifts and it is going to be very ahrd to try and find gifts at this late date. This company does not repsond to an e-mails that are sent to them but they continue to plaster my messages with great discount deals!
Ordered 3 umbrellas found advertised on facebook 11-10-16. Have received 2 of 3 last week (12-12-16), never received 3rd although credit card has been charged. No response to several eMails. No phone contact available.
I had seen the ads on my Facebook and decided to purchase 3 of the helium balloons at $39 each. I filled out the form and submitted payment. They took my payment but have not sent the merchandise. I have emailed them and as of yet recieved no response. The shipment should have arrived on Dec.5th.
