I purchased an air swimmer shark off of a Facebook ad 11/07/2016. The funds were taken from my account and there has been no response to three inquires about my order. Their web site has no phone number, only a contact form. Don't know if this is an outright scam or a really flakey company, but I see the ads remain on Facebook.

Placed order via internet on November 11th 2016 for helium shark balloon. Today, December 17th, still getting e-mail apologies for the delay. December 6th it was "we're kindly asking you to wait for 15 more days for the arrival of your product Rest assured that you'll received the product within the given time frame."

Others have mentioned that a company who provides no phone number are probably shady.

Steer clear. This company is a total rip off. I ordered beginning of Nove for Christmas. It's not Dec 17 and have not received items. The tracking number was bogus and the email correspondence was computer generated.

I used my McDonald's to purchase two flying fish toys on November.13. Order 53680. I also ordered again within the last few days thinking the first order didn't go through. Afterwards I found out it did go through. I keep texting the company as mo phone number is listed, but no one will reply to me.

I ordered two pairs of binoculars for $109 on November 1st they have given me false excuses from the beginning that they were so backed up they would not send it to me until the end of November. It is going on two months and they are still not sending them or refunding my money which I have told them send me my product or my money back ASAP

I ordered a gift on 10/31/16 and never received it. I was told in 11/1/16 it would be 15 more days and told again on 12/18/16 it would be 15 more days because of high order volume. I'm guessing regardless it will always be 15 more days. This company has had numerous complaints and I disputed the charges, ordered from Amazon. It was $4 more at Amazon but I gave a guaranteed delivery date and Amazon will stand behind the order. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY THAT SCAMS

Placed a Order on Facebook on 11/2. My Account was debited for 69.00. It is now 12/18. I sent an email requesting an Update. Reporting that I had not received my Item. They said there were many orders and they are behind. Please be Patient. When I asked for a Refund. There was no response. The website has no Contact Number. No contact Info whatsoever. They just have a form for you to fill in your info. They are still advertising on Facebook and sending me numerous emails Daily.

I saw this item as an advertisement on my facebook page and ordered the helium floating fish on november 26, 2016. On november 29th, i received an email confirming my order saying the following:

Hey a)#($%^&!

This email is just to confirm that your purchase from hobbies discount is on its way! you can expect your parcel to arrive in the next 2-3 weeks. Please allow this timeframe for delivery before emailing us back =)

I sent an email on december 12, inquiring about the status of my order - i didn't get a response from them. I sent another email on december 14 - still nothing, crickets! i came upon these similar reviewed on Outscam saying that other customers never received their product. Therefore, i have contact my bank, reversed the charges and found the exact same item on amazon, only for a few dollars more. My 4 year old nephew is gonna love his flying fish and he will get them by christmas.

Do not order - this company is a scam! no contact information or telephone number for this company could be located anywhere online. Shame on them!

I made an online purchase from Hobbies Discount based on a friends recommendation.

I ordered on Oct 30th 2016 and as of December 15 have not received my order. I have sent several emails requesting updates and tracking. I received a reply back from the "Shipping Guy" after my second email was sent. He apologized and told me to give it another 15 days and it would surely arrive. Well, here we are 15 days later and not package.

I have requested a refund, and have not heard back from anyone at this company.

It is a shame that this company has no address or warehouse and they put up picures of a warehouse but the product is being dropped shipped from China. The product was not shipped until Dec 3rd! I order it on Oct 30th... They dropped the ball and now I am still waiting on a potential present for a realtive for Christmas. They didnt even have the nerve to email me and let me know they screwed up.

Or, they could be a totally unorganized company, or they could be a complete fraud and never intended on fullfilling the order.

I have requested a refund and have not heard back from them as of December 15th 2016.

Be aware of this company and the many complaints they have received. Not a good company to do business with, a total interenet scam.

I ordered a Shark Air Swimmer from Hobbies Discount as advertised on Facebook for $39.95 and free shipping. I received an order confirmation but showing an additional item and shipping which almost doubled the cost of the order. I immediately emailed them. No response. I messaged them on FB. No response. I emailed and messaged them again. No response. I checked my cc statement online and it showed two transactions for They had separated the erroneous order into two transactions. I then received an order confirmation email which stated it would be shipped in 2-3 weeks and to: "Please allow for this timeframe before emailing us back." From their Facebook page, it appears I'm not the only one unhappy with them. One customer was still waiting for her order from October. Facebook is useless in this matter. I have contacted my cc company and reported fraud and they are on it. I have also contacted 7 On Your Side—a San Francisco TV station that helps with consumer complaints.

On October 16, I made a purchase through this online store before I did research. That being said, when I ordered the item, I was given an invite to get another identical item at half price. I did not receive an immediate confirmation. I checked my online banking and noticed that there were two debits for the exact amount (no discount on the second) entered on October 18. On November 6, 2016, I finally received a confirmation the items had been shipped and gave me a tracking number which did not work. Finally, I contacted the company via the only mode of communication being email, and received another email back indicating my shipment would arrive within 15 days. Two months later, I have not received the merchandise I purchased. My email inquireies were ignored.

I recently checked the tracking number, which miraculously worked. Apparently my merchandise was "being processed for shipment". However, the shipment to this day, has not yet happened. Several other scam reporting sites indicate the same situation. Goods paid for, but never delivered. No phone number is associated with the company. Here is what I gathered from another scam reporting service. The owner of the website is using a service that hides their identity; the server is located in Ottawa, Ontario Canada; Better Business Bureau had a company of the same name in its data, but indicated that company, located in Tennessee, was no longer in business with no forwarding information. Also to note, the website is 286 days old, the shelf life of the website is 365 days.

Hobbies Discount has a store front on Facebook, and is constantly sending out advertisements for products. I saw a product that I wanted to give as a Christmas present.

On 11/17/16 I ordered a product from Hobbies Discount. On the 21'st I was billed to my debit card and I was sent a USPS tracking number for the package.

The tracking number was bogus, it did not match up to the USPS tracking service.

I have never received the product.

I have emailed and messaged via Facebook the vendor, and have never had a response, other than a response asking if I would like to purchase more product from them but never addressing the reason for my messages.

I looked at BBB and got the following information, not sure if it is the same outfit:

I ordered a Christmas present on 11/16/16 and when it was not delivered, I contacted the company and gave the benefit of the doubt. However, I was told to give it 15 more days due to the large ordering volume they were experiencing. I waited...nothing! I contacted the company AGAIN and was told to wait another 15 days. I asked for a refund. In fact, I demanded one and received the exact same response of 15 days for delivery. It was not what I was aswing. It was like it was a computer generated response. So after digging, I found that Hobby Discount was a closed company. I was most definitely scammed!
