My 4 year old daughter wanted to go through a car wash real bad so I swung through zips I don't normally go here and I won't be going back... i have a pick up truck and I pulled up and asked the young fellow to help me since I've never been there he selected the $18 wash took my card and put it in machine I paid then. He came over to my truck looked in the back of my truck and said sorry you can't come through because I had a baseball bat and an ax and a large heavy metal piece - in the back of the truck. He said they might blow away. I said oh well I don't have anywhere to put them because my backseat is full of my daughter and all her stuff. He said too bad and was kind of rude. I said OK well if I can't go through I'll just take my money back. He said no, we don't give refunds. I said they're staring in my face blankly. I said well I haven't taken any service from you and you took my money and you're telling me I can't go through so I want to refund even then was more abrasive and basically said no you need to leave. My reply was if my daughter wasn't with me I would explain to you in more detail of why he would need to give me a refund..: he asked if I was threatening him, threatening him? I said take, however you want. He got his walkie-talkie and called her back up. lol there's back up was a 5 foot tall, baldheaded middle-age, looking aggressive ear bud wearing... very agitated looking man that identified himself as the manager. He looked in the back of my truck and said yeah you can't bring it through here I said that's no problem I understand but if you won't let me bring it through and I haven't gotten any service from you and you took my money I want my money back. I guess in his attempt to be helpful he went back-and-forth with me for a few minutes and I told him that I would like to have his name so when I complained online or put reviews online, I can tell people what manager was helping me. He was very scared to give me his name and said there's no way he's giving him my name for me to put his name on complaints, so he called his district manager on the phone. His district manager said basically give him a refund because the first employee should not have taken my money without looking in the back of my truck first. The guy should give him the last four digits of my credit card and he would go inside and process a refund and give me a receipt well throughout the process of him yelling in front of my daughter, which is four years old she was upset she was almost in tears, he went inside. I waited for like 20 minutes. He never came back out so I pulled off. I'm not sure if they processed the refund or not at this point. Someone working at a car wash should not raise their voice in front of a four-year-old girl. I did not threaten anyone, but if someone makes my daughter cry, it makes me feel like I should. I'm sure they got a nice car wash, but they need to get rid of some of their short fused employees and any employees that are on some sort of power trip. The first person that helped me which was a younger black male was very condescending and seemed like he liked feeling in charge. The manager really wasn't too bad, but he definitely needs to brush up on his skills of keeping calm. He would not make a good police officer as he would not know how to de-escalate anything. He on my phone I'm OK didn't was shaking, and his veins were popping out in his head. I can see the veins thru what was a bald scalp. I do have a manager name at this point that spoke to me. I found him on Facebook but out of respect for him I won't put his name on here. I used to talk to text to leave this review. Hopefully there's not too many errors.
After being told I was hired and I would be getting an e-mail from Paycom, I repeatedly could not access Paycom. I have been trying for over a week and NOW I get a text message saying Zips has "exhausted everything on their end" and that zips has to move on.
I have done nothing wrong at all. I turned down 2 other jobs because I was told Zips hired me. Zips cost me a job and 2 other jobs I was called for. I have rent to pay, food and medication for my mother that lives with me (she's 76). I even called Paycom to see if they could help with the issue that I could not get in. Paycom said to talk to Zips which I have been doing and I still could not get in.
I have all the Text messages and screenshots of zip interactions with me. Zips has cost me dearly. Time, money, loss of a job, Loss of 2 other potential jobs.
This porly managed and arrogent customer service of this corporate chain is horrific. This car wash has been turning regular "unlimited pass wash club members" away for past 3 month's, recently on several occasions when I attempt to get my pre paid wash I am turned away during normal business hours, excuses from management range from lane is broken, water is out, we are closed early due to mechanical issues.
For what ever reason , I am turned away and don't get my car clean, although I pre paid. This new manegent is arrogent, non co-operative and very poor cusdtomer relations skills from every employy at the Boynton Beach loction has been extremly unprofessional as to any inquries from not relying to ticket request for complaints to cancelation of membership to calling thier cutomer service number which is non operational.
I was placed too close to another vehical infront of me on 5/23/21 in the locked in roller line wash of mechenized roller tracks as I have been though this wash 100's of times with no incident until the new take over of management and company change over had the vehical in front of me too close at end of stge before the exit was in neutural and fully complying with all driver proceedurs as in past was pushed by the line into the car infront of me cuasing front end damage to my vehicale. The driver exited and ignored the Florida stute for collision took off. I did retrive the licence plates on camera, the plates came back as stolen or no match.
