Was a Saturday when what was called service work was performed on the home I had purchased and was to move into the following Monday. The original quote to have the carpets cleaned along with 100 sq. ft. of tile at no charge was $184.00 a bit high but because I had used the company before with terrific results I agreed. When the man arrived at my home he drug all of his equipment in and made his assessment of my home. He did not even tell me his name and if he did this man would be real easy to forget (just like the name of the company ZERO "personality") however once he had made his assessment he asked if would like to do all of the tile in my home, I said I would depending what the cost would be. His response was oh don't worry about it I will take care of it so he began in the master bedroom bath where he proceeded to make a huge mess leaving the floor standing in water.
He then moved into the bedroom and did the carpet, which turned out OK but just OK, I was not thrilled like I was the time I had used the company before. He then proceeded to move through the house cleaning the carpets while breaking to do the tile in the hall bath. He then did the tile at the front door then went through the garage to get to the kitchen dining and utility room to do the tile. He did all of these areas and left the same type of mess in all of these areas and make no mistake once the floor finally did dry there was most definitely a residue. Before he left I asked hi, if it was normal for the tile floors to be standing in water to which he responded yes and it would take a short time for the floors to dry. The big kicker on this part of this nightmare is when he handed me a $359.00 bill of which I was taken aback. I paid the bill in an effort to get the man out of home. When the man left my home, he stated that I would receive a receipt in my email of which I still do not have.
Now for the customer service portion of this nightmare. Because I felt as though I had been fleeced I called the office in Carrollton TX and spoke with a gentleman who again did not give me his name told him what had happened he agreed that the tile should have been dry immediately after the cleaning process took place. He insisted that the company wanted to make things right. I told him that the house was empty when the what was called service work was performed however the home is now full of furniture and the movers did not need the interruption of others trying to work around each other. He insisted that the company send a person over to look at the work. Thus, I agreed and the company sent over the same nitwit that had made such a mess the first time. When he came into the house he did not say 10 words if that and proceeded to say that the film on the tile is normal after have tile cleaned by the method. I then turned to my son who has done this type of work and is very familiar with the process, and asked him to escort the man out of my home.
After that portion of this customer service, nightmare the nightmare gets even worse. I called the company again and spoke with a woman who stated she was one of the managers of the company. She again insisted that a member of the management team visit my home to make things right. At this point is when I told her I am not interested in a member of the company’s management team visiting my home, all I wanted the company to do is refund the monies in excess of the original $184.00 quote. She then went on to say that she was documenting the whole ordeal and that they still wanted to return to my home at my convenience and redo the work. She gave me her name or what she claimed to be her name, Susanna Morales, then she stated she would be sending me an email documenting all we had spoke about, however I am still waiting for the email she stated she would be sending me over 3 weeks ago. Additionally she gave me what she claimed to be her email address and of course I tried emailing her to remind her of what she had said only for the email to be returned undeliverable. Beware of this company, in my opinion they have no morals ethics or values.
