I have received mail from these attorney seeking an acknowledgement for a debt without any proof of such debt from them. I do not believe they are attorney. I have read these attorneys do not show up for court.
It is apparent he is scavenging credit reports for those he can scam. My account has been reached it limit and has been noted as a lost to company. This letter mailed to me as certified mail is rubber stamped. I attempted to settle my debts but I only ran into scammers in whom even have the nerve to list themselves in the phone book. The economy and human suffering is much too dire to tolerate slick means. Please expose these people as what they are. There is an attempt to unlawful collect money that will likely go toward a debt.
This law office filed to garnish my wages without notifying me first. I got a small claims summons for old debt 8/16/18. I owe it, I will pay it. Sent back all paperwork to the court 8/18/18. Confirmed the court got the documents 8/28/18.
Court advised I send a copy to the law office and let them know what I can pay so we can start a payment plan. Sent a copy to this law office along with a letter stating what I can pay and asked them if that was satisfactory and to please let me know. Gave all my contact info. Asked for a response.
Waited to hear back but instead I got a notice of wage garnishment on 10/9/18. I prefer to communicate with them in writing and I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING. No notice was given to me that this would happen and I thought I did everything correctly. I called the law office to see why this happened on 10/9/18, they claimed they never received anything from me and that I supposedly had a no contact order on my account and basically told me too bad.
The woman on the phone didn't even bother trying to help me or look for anything and was extremely rude. If I even had the no contact order, it would've been for phone calls NOT letters!

I want to pay this and I have never run from my old college debt. I was very young and very stupid in college but now I'm finally getting my life in order and something like this happens. This law office even has one of my other accounts and I've been fully cooperative and paying all along.
They know me and know that I pay my bills. My credit score is 700. I am not a bad person or a criminal, I just had old college debt. All I was asking for was a payment plan and now they're taking it from me against my will.
I don't make enough money for this to happen and I am on a very tight budget. They are trying to ruin my life. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I'm not stopping there. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS.
