This is a total dive of a salon in an old dirty house with less than mediocre stylists that work there. Maybe their usual clients put up with these conditions, but they need to take a look at some of the more modern salons in Boise along with a class or two in basic hygiene. Zbest tries to give the image that it’s a classy modern establishment, to include upscale prices for basic services, but it's more along the lines of a place where OLD people go to get their hair done. Seriously, I think I was the youngest one there. Most of the clients looked like they were in their 70's! Blue rinse anyone? Long story short, my first and only time there, I was totally unimpressed. I had my hair highlighted, it turned out A LOT darker than I wanted - but I think it could've gone better had she not been EATING throughout the entire process. I had to listen to potato chip chewing and watch crumbs falling to the floor - not to mention having her put her greasy fingers back into my hair! Gross! Next time, I'll Google or visit the salon a head of time to see if I want to go there or not. If you Google the Zbest Hair & Nail Salon address you'll see the trashy little house they call a salon. Don't waste your time or money. I'd recommend Panache, Primpin, or Opulence Salons. All have nice people, great prices, and they keep up with the latest styling services.
