I am a real estate agent and receive calls daily regarding lead sales and Internet advertising. This particular company actually sounded enticing promising to get me on the first page of the most popular google searches in 3 of my market areas. Sounded great and against my better judgment I decided to give it a try thinking it would be well worth the money if they did what they said they would do. The problem is they did not. My info, website or Facebook page didn't show up anywhere on the first page of the Google search like promised. I was also promised a call within 48 hrs to walk through what they were doing for me and to make sure everything was set up correctly. It took a week to receive a call and I was busy. I called back ASAP and of course couldn't talk to a person and sat on hold waiting. Not something I have time for! I was also promised a website and Facebook. Which they did set up very basic sites for. After a month of checking daily to see if anything came up in the searches as promised, nothing! So I sent an email, not wanting to sit on hold, to cancel my account and hopefully receive some of my $160 of wasted money back. I received a call from a crystal that she wanted to help me cancel my acccoint which went to voicemail as I was busy again. When I called back I spoke with a Chris who told me there wasn't any record of my email to cancel and told me I must have searched incorrectly. Wow, not only no appology, I was blamed as the problem and told I was wrong. I couldn't even get a refund for the money I sent them and got almost nothing for. Do not send these thieves any of your money. You will regret it as I have.

Not a chance!

I received a call from this company today offering their services. I asked for a live example of their ad. He pointed me to a google ad with a real estate agent's website and then told me it was a fake person. I asked for a live example and he told me he could not give a clients information out. I asked him for a city that had the same ad and he would not give me one. The salesman said he was in Portland Oregon so I looked up real estate in that town. To my surprise..no ad on any of the search engines from this company. The sales guy actually told me he had to move on and hung up on me. Look for yourself on the search engines for any ad for anyone in any city...I searched several and never saw an ad...

Experience with Yurz

I wish I had read your review before messing up with this bunch of crooks. But got a phone call about being the only agent in Smyrna, Tn. about all the leads that I would receive. I cancelled but of course like you I received a bunch of lip from this Andy guy. Listen agents they are a rip off do not use.

Try Cancelling First

I am a RE agent and was interested in an opportunity to expand my business with a lead generation system.

Sounded like an idea I could utilize but ran into too slick a salesman. Like most of his ilk, he has a ready answer to

any question. EXCEPT ONE. "Don't worry, I work on retention but if you're not happy, just call up and cancel at least 3

business days before the next month". I told him I'd call him back but before I signed I called into their system to see if I

actually could cancel that easily. I'm typing this while on hold for 45 minutes listening to some nice music.

So how does someone cancel if they don't answer the line?

"All of our experts are busy helping other callers..." Nice way to run a business.

While waiting, the salesman has tried calling my cell phone multiple times and the fun part--

the numbers are never from where he's located.

Don't do it!!!!

Total scam. I cancelled within 2 weeks of signing up. They promised to have my ad on the first page of Google. I had about 20 of my friends and family Google my 2 key phrases and either there was no ad at all or my ad was the very last ad on the page. I know I never scroll to the bottom when I'm doing a Google search so this service is absolutely useless!!!

I should've known better when I received the sales call. I asked to see someone else's site first and she gave me a sample of one of their sites in key west. It wasn't an actual client and of course that ad showed as the very first one in Google.

Save your money and don't do it!!!

YURZ !

I received a phone call today from YURZ and they said they would put me on the front page of google for a month for $99. I looked them up on to see if they were partners of Google and they did not show up. I believe they are a scam.

Like everyone has said its a scam

I worked there for 2 months. I quit because I couldn't deal with lying to people over the phone, selling something that has no chance in bell of ever working. My co-workers either came up with some rational as to why it was ok, while others didn't care if it works as long as they get paid.

If you're a real estate agent and want to advertise on Google...go to the google advertising area and they show you how to do it yourself. This way you're only paying for people that click your ad and see your site instead of paying yurs a monthly fee whether anyone ever clicks on your 3 extremely specific search phrases or not. Learn to do it yourself and rank for all the search terms in your area instead of paying them month to mont for only 3.

Some important things you should know about Yurz

Some things you should know about this company:

1. They can sell you ads, but they can't keep them online. They can't/won't consistently pay Google to keep the ads online.

2. They identify their address as Mountain View, CA. This is part of their attempt to legitimize their business by their alleged proximity to the Google campuses. They may have a mailbox there, they certainly don't have an office there. They cannot, as salesmen have said, "See the Google Campus from their window." The office is in Beverly Hills, CA, in the Hustler building. So there's that.

3. Their websites, which are sold as completely custom built, are templates. There is a choice of 4 templates, and they are all terrible. They are poorly designed, are terrible for SEO and are deemed so not relevant by the Google crawlers that they drag the rankings of the ads associated with them down, and again, the company won't pay enough to bring the ad back up to the first page. They are also horribly maintained, are minimally populated with information and images scoured (poorly) from available information on the internet.

4. Yurz.com, which is also poorly designed, offers products and services they are not actually prepared to fulfill.

5. They try to convince people who want to cancel to stay with the company by offering Youtube commercials. These commercials are not promoted and are not actually findable with a search. The only people who see these commercials must have the actual URL for the commercial. The commercials are also templates, minimally animated.

6. They offer Facebook Business pages, and they can't keep those online either. Facebook routinely marks them as spam. Customers don't know until they try to access their page and it is down. They have to call Yurz, and wait on hold, to get them reactivated. They also sell Facebook content but they can't consistently post to the pages. Much of the content they use is from a website created by the company, which is carefully not identified as a company website, and all the articles on it are rewritten articles stolen from other sources.

7. They retroactively canceled customer's review management, and kept selling it on the phone.

8. Also they are all about review management. And by that I mean they flood their own review sites with fake reviews from employees, employees family members, and a huge selection of fake Yelp accounts. They still can't keep up with the flood of bad reviews. On Yelp, many of the bad reviews are "not recommended". This is because the agents who wrote them didn't have Yelp accounts, but they were so incensed by their terrible treatment that they created a Yelp account specifically to complain about Yurz. So they only have one review and no friends, which Yelp deems suspicious. Always check the not recommended reviews.

9. This leads to their use of clickfarms in India and Africa to push up "likes" on customer Facebook pages, including their own. If you go to the Yurz Facebook page, you will see that all the likes and all the comments on their posts are from people in India and Africa.

10. They tell you they have a 97% retention rate, but their retention is about 3 months, and that's only because it's extremely difficult to cancel.

11. They have been sued multiple times, and always settle. A smart lawyer could assemble a massive class action suit to the benefit of all their former customers.

I really wish more people took the time while they were on the phone to look up Yurz reviews, it would save them a lot of hassle. This company preys on people who don't know enough or don't want to deal with their internet presence, which is a shame. In three months you can rack up around $600 and that's a lot, especially for agents just starting out. Also, you can handle your own Google ads just fine, with minimal research. Google will literally walk you through the process.

Scam artists

Yurz (formally Linktech Worldwide) is a straight up scam. Not only is the $99/month a rip off for something you can do yourself by signing up with Google, but if your ad is too successful, they feel they aren't making enough profit so they will call you and ask for a higher monthly fee or try to down sell you a less successful phrase. They've been sued multiple times for using an autodialer which is illegal and they always settle out of court to keep it quiet. (Just Google "yurz lawsuit") They get real estate agent numbers from scraping websites and reuse them calling over and over. They're website product is about as good as something from 2007 and they are not SEO friendly. Save yourself some time and money, if they call, request to be put on a do not call list. If they call again. Report them.

SCAM

PLEASE DON'T get involved with this company. They will promise you so much verbally and not deliver on what is promised. When you try to contact them, their phone system is a trick in of itself. If you trick it into believing you're a new customer you have a better chance of getting through. Otherwise, count on being on hold until the system hangs up on you or one of their employees hangs up on you. Even if you get through the chances of one of their employees actually helping you is slim to none. I was promised a call back by the end of the business day several times and of course it never happened. They say what you want to hear and in my opinion, this is a sophisticated scam! Please read reviews on several different sites and you will find several complaints similar to my own awful experience. Save yourself the wasted time and money! Also, if you have a lawyer working on this, please contact me!

BEWARE!!! YURZ.com is A SCAM

I have been with them since July 2016 (17 months) and never received one lead. They post to FaceBook and give you a supposed search. I just got off the phone with them. It took 20 minutes to cancel. Caleb, the account manager tried talking me into "getting something out what I already invested." I had to raise my voice and be adamant about my cancellation. I FINALLY received confirmation via email.

  • Nov 17, 2016

Buyer Beware

Long speech about what they will offer you for $159.00. In real estate we work hard for leads to make a living and to be potentially scammed is b***s***. Turned them down fast after asking for their website to check out and maybe sign up online. They said the company name is "Yourz." I looked them up, not found. No surprise, the real name is actually "Yurz." Save your money and time!

Cancel your credit card as quickly as possible

I signed onto Yurz late yesterday, then checked reviews this morning and realized I'd been taken. So I called my credit card company, filed a dispute and asked to immediately cancel my card and send a new one. Fortunately, their payment was pending, awaiting authorization and Mastercard was able to block that authorization so no funds came out of my account.

Do that as quickly as you can.

Don't believe it.

I just received a call from one of their sales people saying he was calling from Beverly Hills but the number came up as Pennsylvania.

He promised the world and would throw in an extra city of top 3 placements on Google searches. He said I would be the only agent in the county

he would give this exclusive deal to but he couldn't hold my place for long. I didn't trust I would get anything for my money so I told him NO.

I really don't believe they are going to provide anything for the money and will likely continue to bill people. This guy says he doesn't make anything

unless a customer stays on board for more than 4 months.

worthless

same story as everybody else, high pressure low delivery...if you have signed with them call your credit card company and cancel as well make sure they dont re bill you after cancellation.

when i called the company to cancel i was transferred six times burning up over 2 hours of my day on hold eventually a woman came on the line and asked if they could call me back....heres the thing...they place a call so your cell phone doesnt ring and then they leave you a voicemail saying sorry we missed you hope you are enjoying the service...of course i rang back...got the run around again...the same woman asked me if they could call me back i said no ill hold ...guy comes on the line trying the high pressure bull**** again i just kept saying i want to cancel right now...after 6 or seven sales pitches he said ok i will cancel your service (what service...you did nothing) told me that i was making a big mistake etc etc

Wish I had researched before...

Called and against my better judgement thought...ok. It's only $159. If they can do all they promised then that's a great deal. Well I got "confirmation" emails saying my searches were active. I can't find myself ANYWHERE let alone on the first page of Google. I haven't gotten the promised call within 2 days either. Looks like I'm going to have to disputes this as a fraud charge on my credit card. Just what I wanted to do with my time.

FAKE COMPANY!!!

Beware. Yurz does not do what it promises and when you complain they give you the run around. I canceled my account and just got a bill for yet another $199. Terrible! Stay away!!

LIARS

Against my better judgement I signed up with Yurz. I paid out $400 for nothing. When I called to complain and ask to terminate my subscription I was talked into staying by Anthony. I told him I could not find my information on Google or Bing as promised. He replied that it was there and pulled it up. However, when I went to those sites using the same key words my information did not appear. Funny when he types into bing it shows up but when I do immediately afterwards it doesn't. They are a scam company. Stay away. My service was supposed to be terminated (after my second complaint) and I just received a bill for another $200. I plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau! BEWARE!!!

i worked there for a 2 months

it was weird that the cold call department and the fulfillment dept didn't talk at all. i kept thinking " how could we sign up 50 people a day and everyone get custom websites in 48 hours?"

i can't believe they have a spot in the larry flynt building in bev hills. on the internet there are so few good reviews. if their service worked well they'd be tons of good reviews.

i saw one review on yelp from greg goodhearted saying it was a great service. problem is..greg goodheart is the phone call call manager! lol

integrity is important to me and i couldn't work somewhere where were promising people something and not delivering on it.

also i would never ever ever give my credit card number over the phone to someone without something in writing first. thats just plain stupid.

i would never do that and so i had a lot of trouble telling on the people on the phone that they should.

it was a weird cash payout system they did at the end of everyday also who was gimmicky and bizarre.

Sounds like the one good review was likely an employee for them.

I just signed up on July 6th, they sent me 3 emails, a receipt for the first month (which is supposed to get me at the top of google for 3 towns) first month only, then choose just one for the same $159.00 per month. Another email said your site is ready, I went to the http:// address they told me and nothing, I then went to the http://account.yurz.com where you are supposed to be able to login and customize your site, however no place to login? The third email was telling me someone would call to assist and answer questions within 4 days, have not heard anything yet, if not by tuesday, I will definitely cancel. Your right, high pressure, no time to think when your in a busy market and only have a few minutes, sounded great, now Im already feeling the regret ;-( Spoke with a Nicholas Greeno, has anyone dealt with him? I thought this was google direct, until I got the emails.
