YPCITY MEDIA CALLED US AND PRETENDED TO BE DEX AND SOLD THE SERVICE TO MY FATHER. AFTER A LOT OF COMPLAINTS AND ARGUEMENTS, THEY FINALLY ISSUED A REFUND.
A COUPLE OF MONTHS LATER, ANOTHER COMPANY CALLED AND TRIED TO SCAM US USING THE SAME SCRIPT. COINCIDENTLY, BOTH ARE IN PHILADELPHIA. BUT THIS TIME, MY DAD WAS CAREFUL AND DIDN'T FALL FOR IT. SOMEONE SHOULD BE LOOKING INTO THEM.
This "company" is a joke. They won't help your business and will just take your money. Then they call to "update your information" and trick you into another $500. What a waste of money, and pretty pathetic to target small businesses that could be already struggling.
They called out business and stated the same- They wanted to update our listing information. They spoke so darn fast and asked multiple times if I was able to make marketing decisions for the company and I stated NO each and every time. Then they said something about recording something to which I said fine- they verified the info and thats all I remember from our talk then I suddenly get a bill for services I DID NOT AGREE TO for $499.00!! I spoke with them within a Week again when they called trying to collect the money. I said No- I did not agree to this. They said I did. I apparently said Yes to something in the recording which I sure wasn't to accept charges. They said they'd cancel it and it will only cost me $250 for services since the services had already been completed. I said ABSOLUTELY CANCEL- They said they did and they'd send me the notice. NEVER GOT IT. Then I get another call about 2 weeks later from the same company saying I now owed $550 bc of late fees for not paying!! I AGAIN told them to cancel and never call again. I just got a call today from their so called billing department trying to collect on the $550. He said he could lower it to $250 and cancel immediately and something about the invoice from 2018. um no- this was from one week in 2019 that I never agreed too. He went on about how I was going to need to pay this and I said "For a service I never wanted or agreed to?" he said "the work has been done" I NEVER TOLD YOU TO DO THE WORK> I SAID I COULD NOT MAKE MARKETING DECISIONS.
