I ordered the skin cream from Youthful Radiance on 1/31/2018. It was advertised as a free trail sample by paying the shipping and handling cost. I received the package within a week. I noticed that my account had been charged 3 payments in the amounts of $89.18 (2/19) $88.63 (3/2) and $89.18 (3/4). I contacted the number on my account and found out it was from the free sample I ordered.
The customer service rep told me that by ordering the free sample I signed up for their skin care program. I told him nowhere in the promotion did I read that I was signing up for this program. The customer service rep informed me that the charges was for 3 shipments that was shipped to my home. I informed him that I have not received any other shipments other than the freee sample.
He put me on hold and return to tell me that the shipments were in process. I told him I did not want their product and I wanted the funds returned to my account. The Rep informed me that he could only give me 35% of what I had paid back. I asked why I had to pay for a product I had not received. He said it was their policy. I told him, if I received the products he claim was in process to be shipped to my house, could I return for a full refund.
He said that is not their policy and that the only thing that they could do is refund 35% of the $266.57 that I feel that they stole from my account. This is an account that I don't keep a lot of funds in so add the bank fees of $100.00 to that amount. The rep hung up on me as I wa trying to resolve this issue. I'm very upset and want people to know what they are setting themself up for when ordering this product. THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.
Youthful Radiance is a SCAM. Ordered their "free trial" a 30day supply and only pay S&H the total was around $9. I only wanted one trial product but to get that one you had to get another eye cream product their wasn't an option to say no to it so ended up paying $9 instead of $4.95. Not a big deal at that time. Never saw anything about a trial period or any cancellation information. It was suppose to be a free 30 day trial, so thought after that is when you would order again or they would offer to send you another order if you wanted. Not the case at all! 15 days after you order, not receive, order the product they slam you with 2 $88 charges over $170 without your knowledge. You call to get the charge taken off and they will repeatedly tell you that they cannot, knowing good and well they could if they were not a scam! The lady I spoke with even ended up not answering my question about refunding my credit card back and kept avoiding it and tallking over me. I kept asking if they were going to and she ended up hanging up on me. I called back to get my cancellation number as she did not give it to me and I did want to make sure they would not charge me again. I was nice not yelling , not mean but they had no will to cooperate. Georgia
I ordered a wrinlke cream from Facebook that showed a video of the cream making wrinkles disappear almost immediately. The fee was for shipping and handling at the cost of &4.95. The ad did not give any information about the length of the trial offer. I receieved a box with the product and instructions on how to use. Nothing in the box stated length of time. It said thank you for your order with a phone number and an internet address.
I used the product as per instructions and nothing happened. I used it faithfully for 15 days and still nothing.
I was checking my credit card account and noticed I had been charged $84.95 for the product. I then called the number on the card to have my name removed from their accounts. The lady told me the product was guaranteed to work. I told her I had used as instructed and nothing worked. I told her I wanted the charged removed and asked if they could send a box to me so I could return the product. She offered to reduce the amount to half and send more product.
This company does not give any indication of how many days the trial is or the amount of the actual product.
This was a free trial for youthful radiance serum. I was only supposed to pay for the shipping and handling! They charged my bank card $81.37. This was supposed to be a free trial. Caused my account to have an overdraft payment and insufficient funds.
This company makes it look as though you have a trial sample for shipping and handling, however after submitting
the credit card information without realizing it you will be drafted anywhere from $80-166 for 1 or 2 products. I thought I would be receiving another shipment for that price when in fact the trial samples were not free and there was not adequate time to try them to see if they would be effective befoe committing, only 14 days. Allure...lures you into purchasing a product that I would never pay that much for unless I knew it worked, of course. After using the product religiously for more than a month I have seen no visible difference in my skin. Had I seen a difference I might have considered that a fair value however I took a picture on day one and I do not see any difference whatsoever. Companies like this one should not be able to mislead individuals in this manner and trap people by using these marketing methods that use fine print and hidden agendas. When I asked for a refund because the product did not do what it said it would, they declined. I told them I would make my complaint public.
I do hope my complaint will steer others to not make the same mistake. $166. is not a small amount of money for many of us.
One evening while cruising facebook I took notice of this miracle product meant to reduce lines and wrinkles and restore youthfull appearance- free no less!! So, I bit. The deal ended up being for 2 products with a shipping charge for $4.95 each. Okay, cheap enough to give it a try, right?
I recieved the products eventually and also recieved a charge of $50 along with the 2 charges of 4.95. Interesting the later charge was added to my credit card a few weeks later- did they think I wouldn't notice!?!
I, of course, contacted my credit card company and am in process of dispute. I also am having difficulty in contacting the company- a return shipping address is all I got, which was used yesterday when the postman attempted to deliver another package, back it went.
The product? I'm not impressed. The hassle and blatant attempt to defraud, unconsionable! Beware to consumers. This company, should be, at the very least investigated and fined. Pure Radiance, more like pure BS!!
This company sells their face and eye serum as trial samples for the cost of only shipping and handling of $4.95 for both. Supposedly you must cancel in 2 weeks time or you are signed up for a continuing shipment of full size products. (I don't remember any of these statements in the trial samples, and I told the copany this. Neither was there a cost for the full size. You don't receive the samples (which I never even did) for 2 weeks,to try so it would be impossible to cancel in their time frame .
You do however receive full size products, billed seperately under both names in the amounts of $84.95 and $8137, a far cry from $4.95. So when you receive your small bottles in 2 weeks assuing they are the samples in reality are the full size bottles and you are billed exactly in the 2 week period the large amounts.
This scam is very ingenious in how they do it,but mostly I don't remember a reoccuring shipment since I never do that with companies because their shipments cross over into the cancellation dates making it impossible for one to try out a product and then cancel if disatisfied with their product.
I did read on this site that the exact same thing has happened to others by Allure skin cream and eye cream. While it's very disappointing I would never order even a sample again. In contacting the company it was to no avail to refund money because of their misleading site so I hope women out there do not order anything on the internet because of such types of fraud like with this company. My $4.95 trial skin serum turned out to cost me $166.32,that's quite a profit for a company misleading women on their site plus you still had to pay the $4.95 on top of it.
