This is only a partial complaint. I will list the pros and cons of buying software, videos, ecommerce, and courses from this company.
I have purchased 2 e-courses from this company. First off, be aware that they cancel their email addreses after so many purchases. When you purchase, it will be as a 'friend/gift' on Paypal, not as a business transaction. There is no telephone number or contact address info on their website. I have no idea where they are located.
Now, this company offers a very good discount on downloadable videos. You may not get all the files, but you will get most of them at a large discounted price. There are cheaper sites tht offer the same products, but still, they are good and have a vast library of downloads to choose from.
My first transaction went well. It did take over an hour but the files are large so that is to be expected. The second took almost 5 hours to download on my new laptop. When the download was down, it would not open. After another 5 hour attempt, i reached out to them for help. I was getting "file path is too long" error message. I must have messaged them on live chat every day for about 4 days for help, in the morning and in the evening. I also emailed them 2 or 3 times. Finally, i gave up and looked on youtube. It was a simple fix based on their error of naming their file too long which does not work with winzip extractions. I simply shorted to name and path to downlaod and the file was downloaded after only 23 minutes. 2nd technical issue was also fixed by me, again with youtube. They sent me .flv vids which could not be viewed on Windows Media without a codec dwnload for that extension. The company ought to have known that but I am more irked by the fact that they didnt care after i gave them my money.
So to wrap things up. I want to point out that the company did deliver on the audio/video files as promised. What was not delivered was the technical support which is assured on their website. After figuring out on Youtube how to fix their filepath and codec error problems by myself, i was finally able to view the files.
Today i sent them a final message just to let them know that i would not be buying any more courses -and i wish i could : (, but i am just so insulted by their non-responses. Within seconds they then appeared online. Anyhow, too late, and they certainly didnt try to make things better or even apologize or give me a fake excuse after i told them I would buy my educational files elsewhere.
ps - one final thing that bugged me is that have a special that says 4 courses for $350, but when i tried to get the deal after my 3rd course (that would make it over $350) they would not apply the deal because i did not pay the $350 upfront. However, it was only 2 weeks apart. At the very least, they could have applied the deal to make things better, but this is an example of their lack of custoer empathy and support.
