On October 13, 2015 Steve Davs contacted me and offered me a once in a lifetime opportunity. He said he would be featuring one agent in his Temecula Lifestyle Magazine. He said I picked up your card at the Lake Elsinore Care Wash. He said the initial cost would be 199.00 Dollars and there after 199.00 Dollars every two months. I told him I would have to run this by lender. Since I wanted him to be featured in the Ad with me. He called me back and was insistent to sign me up right away. I should have hung up then. However I told him no that I needed to meet him in person. We set up an appointment for the upcoming Thursday October the 15th.
On that Morning I received a text message from Brad Engle he stated he was the rep in the area. And he would be meeting me instead of Steve. I should of seen the red flag there. However, I confirmed the appointment and drove to meet him at the Temecula Starbucks located within the Mall. My lender walked in with me. We sat and Brad Engle introduced himself he pulled out an array of adds He presented me with the copy of the current issue of said magazine. He also stated that the name of the Magazine would be Temecula Lifestyles Magazin instead of Your Healthy Lifestyle. He also stated that upon his arrival to his office he would email me the diffrent layout options to choose from.
At this day and age it did not make sence to me why he did not have his labtop with him, or for that matter why he did not pull up a sample on his Smart phone. Fishy!!! I went ahead and provided him with all my credit card information which he wrote down on 3 diffrent forms. He then proceeded to bring out an Ad for my collegue in our office to make his promises more plausible. Which I might Ad was misleading since they did not run this Ad. He also stated that they would feature me on one of the Cable channels for a total of 50 secs twice a month. ?? This should of also been a RED FLAG!!! We parted ways as soon as I left I drove to my office at which point I called him. Since I was eager to view the sample AD's. Well here is where it gets interesting.
I called Steve Davis and asked him for the various Ad proofs that Brad Engle had promised. He stated I do not understand what you are asking me for. I told him the sample Ad the diffrent layout types Steve. He said let me have Brad call you back he is currently on another appointment. As I myself am away from my computer and am not able to assist you. At this point my suspicions came true! I had him on Speaker phone and my collegue was typing the information on the Sample Ad in the Google search. When she came accross the RIP off Alert that matched their 855-557-5566 number. The nightmare does not stop there. She proceeded to look inside the Magazine ad and all the business phone numbers were the same or similiar. Well it gets better, she then pulled up a few BBB Reports as well. Stating everything I was hearing from this guys mouth and pulling up on the computer. As she pulled this information up and showed it to me. I asked Steve Davis. I told him Steve I am concerned. You have BBB Better Business Bureau complaints as well as Rip off Report Alerts. He became upset and said what are you talking about? I then read the complaint to him from the Better Business Bureau. He replied how many of those are on the BBB? I said 1 he said I will take one of thousands I service! He then asked me what do you think I do go around popping people for 199.00 a day? I said I did not say that. Come on he said give me a chance. I will have Brad call you back. As soon As we hung up I called my Bank and they had already ran the 199.00 charge. I was told by my credit union it was only pending and that they would stop the payment.
Well they did not two days later I was informed that it had gone through and that I had to dispute it. Well my nightmare does not stop here. On November 22, 2015 I received a bill for 1413.00 for the outstanding balance. I called their Ad services and spoke with Trisha. I told her that I was aware that they were running a scam. I told her you guys were quick to charge my card for the 199.00. Brad said he would send me the Ad to choose from. She said we did. She yelled at me and said do not call me a liar! I told her I did not call you a liar, I did not receive such an Ad. She stated that my Ad was going to run on Dec first. I told her wow that is a good one!
Now it is Dec 1st. first it was Nov 1st. You guys are a piece of work. I told her a police report was filed and I am going to post about your FRAUD/Deceiptive Ad Services. I told her that Robert Mahanes and her could shove my 200.00 Dollars up her a*s. I also told her you will not see one penny cut in half from me. We live in the United States of America, and your guys need to get a life stop ripping off people! I will not stop until these sick thiefs get caught. I just received a call from Trisha again, 818-466-2215. She is stating that I have an outstanding bill. Hello no services were rendered, by the way my credit union has yet to resolve this issue. Please beware of these thiefs and do not do not sign up with anyone that is so insistent on same day sign up. Or you will loose your piece of mind! Lesson learned.
