After today's experience I'd give this business a score of zero. Over three months ago i brought my tablet for repair at their Bancroft branch. Paul assured me it be repaired soon being I wanted it for my travels in May. Well May, June and July transgressed and yet the tablet still wasn't repaired with the excuse the wrong part was shipped to him three/four times. By this time they closed their store in Bancroft, but the owner assured me the tablet would be delivered to me. I did a google search and within 15 minutes I found the peice he needed on amazon.
I sent him the site yet when I called a few days later he said i stated I said I was ordering the part. I checked the email and nowhere was such a statement made. At this point I said I'd be in Belleville Wednesday to pick up my tablet for I've ran out of patience; upon which he responded he was heading to Bancroft Tuesday and he'd call me.
To no surprise one more promise has been undelivered therefore Wednesday I head to their store in Belleville which is in the basement of a home. I was reminded to make sure to bring the repair ticket I was given.
"You betcha!" The daughter took the repair ticket and got my unrepaired tablet. I asked for the ticket back and she stated i couldn't have it. No prob..make me a copy..nope couldn't do that either. I asked to see the ticket and she held one end of it for me not to take it. I pulled it out of her hand and was taking MY tablet from the counter. Like a dog with a bone she held on to it and the father rushed to assist her. As I'm trying to get hold of my tablet they both fought me to hold on to the tablet to the point I heard a crack. I let go of the tablet. The daughter opened the door and asked me to leave.
What other alternative was left but to call 911. Once I explained the situation to the officer he went inside to speak to people in question. He informs me that they will not release the tablet until they get their ticket back. Incredible... so I take a photo of ticket and hand it over to the officer. I told him all that they could have done is give me a copy stating I picked up the tablet. In conclusion, after thirteen weeks I finally get my unrepaired tablet back with a cracked screen. Many reviews state they are a great establishment. Well after my experience you'd think twice about dealing with such people.
