I have been living in a townhouse in upstate NY now for 15 months and I was aware that water wasn't included in the rent .I didn't receive my first water bill and really didn't think too much about it I pay every bill on time but if I don't receive the bill I would think it's not due. I then got a letter on my door explaining I owed two water bills and if I don't pay it would effect if I wanted to renew my lease. The double bill was outrageously expensive considering there is only two people living here and my friend who has a different water supply bill was an eighth of mine and they have a full family and huge garden continually using the water. I tried contacting Yes Energy to see why I didn't receive a bill and why so high. To this date I cannot get hold of this company and when I ask questions im threatened with you may not be able to extend the lease even though my rent is paid before due date each month. I have come to find out there are no water meters so how doI get cbarged an extremely high amount when there are no meters the management where I live no one seems to know or want to know where the meters are and how does yes energy charge me a bill so high when I have no meter. I really don't know what to do about this issue anymore how can you charge someone for water usage with no meter to get a reading from.

Yes energy management Sunset pointe apts I feel there billing is illegal. we have 8 units and 1 meter, nobodys home all day except me an my bills are crazy, and they water there landscape excessively. why am i paying?
CHARGING MORE KWH EACH MONTH
I live in an apartment & the utility provider is YES Energy Management. I have to call them each month to make a complain why my KWH is charging at least 30 KW more each month on my electric bill. They replied that maybe I put the wrong KWH on my paper. They didn't know I'm doing this early last year. Putting on my KWH record date and time each day. This apartment has more than 100 units, well if they charged $5 more for each unit. They can make more than $500 each month. I hope CPUC will come to catch them and shout down this crook company. PLEASE CPUC COME TO INVESTIGATE THEM ASAP.
We lived in Compen Springs Condos, our water pressured was horrible, compare to our nabors below. Every single month we got over charged with the water, sewer and garbage bills. Some of the other people in the same community paid nothing compare to us. Its pritty frustering that companys get away with stuff like this. I hope they get sued or as the word of God says, you'll reap what you sow.
I can not belive the length that some companys will go to to squeeze money out of customers pockets.
This company enjoys mailing you a statement three to four days before its due and then charging a late fee of 25 dollars
and they do this on a consistent basis every month. So you say pay on line,well they charge 3.50 to do that,so you say pay by phone well they charge 3.50 to do that to and when you call and complaine they blame it all on the property
management company. This is a greedy company with out a conscience.
CORRUPT
Zero stars. This company is corrupt. They overbill. It's absolute fraud. $329 for one month of electricity when no one is home ALL day, 5 days a week???? No extra appliances or excessive electronics in our home. None. All of our appliances are eco friendly and qualify for the tax deductions. EXPLAIN
We moved into Route 66 Trailer park on August 1, 2014. The first months charges where $ 3.63. The amount seemed reasonable, since we only spent one day in the residence that month. The only electrical device left on was a 12 volt night light on a photo sensor. Where we charged an extra forty dollars by Yes Energy Management.and, told " no ones electric bill is $ 3.63".
We contacted Wieghts and Measurements to certify the meter. no changes to the results. In the following 16 months variations continued, and in Dec. 2015 we recieved a bill of $ 469.90. We where told that using electric heaters was the cause. We use propane for heat exclusively . We don't own any electric heaters.
Finnally we disconnected from the power grid and behold our meter was still spinnig rapidly. Wow what is up with that !
exceptionally poor customer service and capricious billing
I live in an apartment building that utilizes Yes energy as the water/sewer 3rd party billing agent. Despite attempts at water conservation my bill is almost as high as it was when I owned a home and watered my yard and flowers, yet I do none of these now. Now my bill is 23% higher than it was at it's highest - yet my usage hasn't changed and attempts to find out why have been met with customer service reps stating "well, it looks like your usage has been steady" or "your usage is less than average" and my favorite "I'll have the billing department contact you." I've emailed, I've called, and nothing from the company. Frankly- this company is, in my opinion, worse than Comcast. And I had Comcast too. If you plan to use Yes or plan to move to an apartment that uses Yes take my word on this- DON'T DO IT. You will regret it.
