On August 25th, 2015 I ordered 3,325 hand written letters from Yellow Letters Complete. These letters were to be a hand written style font on company letter head to a proven, profitable list: high equity and free and clear owners.
Out of 3,325 letters Yellow Letters Complete claims they mailed, we received a total of 7 phone calls! That is less than a ¼ of 1 percent response rate, but their website advertises hand written letters getting between 5% and 15% response rate. This is right on their website for all to see. If you are in the real estate industry and have mailed this list, you will know right away there is something seriously wrong with the ratio of phone calls to letters ordered.
I have gotten a better response rate from the SAME list with postcards, which historically never perform as well as a letter. I have also asked several other people (about half a dozen) in this industry (people who have also mailed this same list) and they all agreed that something is seriously wrong with the response rate, meaning they doubt 3,325 letters were actually mailed.
I spoke with the owner, and the only ‘proof’ he gave me for sending out these letters was a receipt from the post office that had a different amount of postage stamps purchased than the amount of letters I ordered! He sent me this receipt on 10/01/2015 and the total pieces of postage stamps ordered (per the invoice) was 3,554. My order had 3,325 letters, so I can’t know what he actually ordered for my specific order, nor can he prove those postage pieces were for my order.
The owner Zach has been unhelpful and refuses to refund any of the money even though he can’t prove he mailed all the letters I ordered and the response indicates something was done wrong from Yellow Letters Complete or all of the letters were not mailed.
