shenanigans

So in additional to all these wonderful comments about shitty customer service, please let me inform you that if you are need of a refund... they don’t just send the money back on your card! That seems simple right!? Routing and account number already present! You’d think that would be most simple and economical move / judgment on their behalf; however NO! These little asses will give you your refund, but not in 3 business days, nor 5 business days, nor 10 business days (like common business practice), but in 50 FKN DAYS. Now the dude didn’t specify if that 50 business days I’m assuming so, just so they can dick you around even more! But how cool is that! so now I have to play the waiting game and phone tag and god knows how long processing will take and if they are back there finger popping each other’s assholes... Jesus man, get it together. What if it's lost!? Oh the possibilities and then if lost to file a claim and wait even longer on that. Let me tell you I’m looking forward to such shenanigans! Now all of ya have a good day! :) Sorry for such colorful use of words!

Being ripped off for 140.00

Do not use this company for anything. I mean any thing.

consumer ripoff

Yes this company is very much a rip off! I checked my balance and only owed them $68. When the time comes to pay off the phone my balance is back up to $133.33 a month and the buy out is $764. I called customer service and I'm told because i didn't pay the phone off in the 90 days i am now leasing the phone. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. I cancelled my payment with them and also stopped payments though my bank which cost another $34 but was well worth it. How can they get away with doing this. Cricket and Ybuy should not be able to continue these practices.

Rip off 65% interest

I wonder where to complain this ybuy as they are the only company who finances phone with 65% interest

Yesterday morning around this time i was very saddened and upset with this company. I financed my Samsung Galazy s6 through YBUY on May/6/2015, i only needed to get financed $275, because i had traded in my old phone which gave me a $75 credit towards my $649 purchase, and i paid $300 in cash, only needed to pay YBUY $275.01.

I was told at the cricket store that it would be BEST to pay off my phone within the 90 days to avoid any intrest. I was like, "ok...I can do that!" Long story short... As of August 19th, 2015, my payoff amount was 30.54, " In my head i'm thinking i have only 1 more payment and the phone is mine!" Nope... Not the case at all.

I miscalculated my math, (which is my bad on my part), but i went from only owing $19.86 on my galaxy s6, (and mind you i only needed to borrow $275.01 from YBUY), to when it came time for me to make sure the payment came out of my account for August 21, 2015, my new payoff amount was now $258.45!!!

Pretty much from my understanding from the customer service lady who was very hard to understand due to her broken english, told me that because i did not pay off the phone within the 90 days, that now they are pretty much throwing on a rental agreement charge for 12 months... Maybe thats not what she said? I don't know... All i know is how do you go from only owing $19.86 to know owing $258.01? i pretty much paid $240 more for this phone! i was 18 days past the 90, and now i'm $258 in the hole.

This company does not care, they said that is part of their agreement. Bottom line, do not finance through this company, and if you do, have your math down to the T. Make sure you pay them off within 90 day or you will be crying and upset... We work too hard for our money to just throw it away.

I looked through all my paper work, and cricket never did give me any type of agreement or anything stating how YBUY actually works. Ask questions, and dont let this company do this to you!
