Yancey Co Reviews

  • May 1, 2017

I am a female 72 years of age. I attended a Boots on the Ground work shop in Denver Co. on 10/04/2014. This was on Real Estate Investing. “Making money with income properties.”

Too make a long story short, they said the classes would be held in Las Vegas Nevada. I told them I did not know how to use a computer or any electronics. (My son helped me find this website also typed and entered my complaint.) They told me not to worry about anything that they would take care of everything on the phone. They assisted me with charging $30,000 on credit cards. Which at my age I’m having a very difficult time trying to pay them off.

At the Las Vegas Boots on the ground Summit, I rolled over all my IRA to Accuplan, which was also $30,000. I have been so sick ever since I listened to these people. I have high blood pressure, anxiety and can’t sleep. I am working multiple hours to try to pay these credit cards.

About 4 months after they bought a property with my trust, they stated that the property had $15,000 in damages. They stated they sent the property manager (Top Property Management St. Louis MO.) $7000. to help with repairs. In the meantime, they sent me a settlement agreement release form to sign and stated if I would sign this they would help me with $10,000 more to fix the house. The form was 4 pages long, and I told them I did not understand why they wanted me to sign this and they stated “it just states that I will not hire a lawyer or put it on social media.”

I did not sign this.

I attempted several times to call the property manager. I requested that they send me pictures of what they did with the $7000. and I want the name of the contractor. After I did this I could not get in contact with anyone, all calling ceased.

Also during all this time, they sent me several letters threatening me to pay on different properties. Not the same address as the property they supposedly sold me. They stated I owed taxes and other bills on these properties. I was so frightened that I was very sick. I would cry all the time. I called Records of deeds and vital records in the city and state that they said I own the properties. I called because I have multiple letters threating me to pay taxes, utilities, from the forestry division Etc. they stated my name is not on anything. The properties all have different names on title.

The names of the companies involved at the Las Vegas Real Estate Investor Summit are: Boots on the Ground (Said I didn’t need a computer to Invest), Accuplan (whom sells you on rolling over your IRA to a self-directing IRA), Buy PD (Sells you into signing a power of attorney so they could buy great properties that are already rented out.) and Veil Corp. supposed to help set up your legal protection.

I would very much like to get enough people who lost money with this boots on the ground scam, to start a group lawsuit.
