In May I left a GS4 black two months old to be fixed at a local store in Pigeon Forge for water damage.This phone was for grandson and had child locator on it for he is autistic.The person that was to fix the phone told me what was wrong with it and said she would fix it at no charge for she was friend of son-in-law.The service was still active until July and the phone has never been fixed or given back to me.Each time she was asked she says she doesn't know where it is.This has been going on since end of May.On Thursday I was told that charges for data was over 150.00 and wifi was turned on and being used.US Cellular where the phone is from and on a contract is pinging the phone and investigating the theft.So far this has cost me 1180.00 because someone decided to steal the phone and sell it and not give it back to me who is/was paying the bill for it.It has been black flagged and theft reports made.A used replacement phone for him had to be purchased because of this.The local manager has been made aware of this problem and theft and so has the main office and neither has attempted to fix this problem replace the phone and pay the charges.I was charged 200.00 to break the contract on this phone and this company undoubtly does not care if someone steals and sells phones brought it to be fixed.US Cellular pinged it on Friday and it was in Seymore being used.
As of date the employees have been warned that if they talk or answer any questions in regards to this issue they would be fired on the spot.Now they are job threatening employees who are aware of the issue and what has went on with the whole mess.
The main owner of the company has not returned any phone calls or emails in regards to this.It is sad that a company would let an employee do a customer this way especially a legally disabled child.
I was told that the employee would compensate me for all of this and as of date has not even tho there is written proof she had the phone.All I have gotten is lies and excuses and no resolution at all.
