I was recommended to Wicked_Threadz salonby a relative, had a re weave installed with other hair that I had installed previously which was shorter but a good quality. Marcel was running a sale on bundles, convinced me that it was good hair therefore on her word I purchased 4 bundles of hair for $428, 2 (28 inches) 2 (30 inches). 3 bundles were colored honey blonde, 1 colored brown "4B which is brown. I had the hair installed by stylist Gabby, who also did the coloring for me. The hair was installed and literally was a bit lower than my back (which is what I wanted) I was pleased until within the week after installation the hair started to shed. I had 2-3 washings within a 5 week period and conditioned each time. I informed the owner Marcel and informed the stylist who could see for herself that the hair was shorter from shedding. The begining of June the hair was literally 12, 14 and 18 inches; that is a far cry from 28 and 30 inches.
My vacuum cleaner on a daily basis was filled with hair. Of course I complained to Marcel. On June 7th I contacted Marcel and told her that it is unfair that what I once had is no longer 28 and 30 inches and she was not doing the right thing for me as a customer by NOT contacting her hair vendor. On June 20th Marcel sent him a note of my concern and messaged me her correspondence via text with him. The very same day she asked if I had pictures of the shrinkage, mind you, I had left her a sample which was 10 - 12 inches. I complied and sent her picks and a measuring tape showing the length which was now 18 inches. He made a flimsy excuse telling her that the hair must be stretched to show the length. Only then did she make a video of the hair that I had left with her (10-12inches) and sent me a copy. One week later, two weeks later I heard nothing from Marcel. In between this time I purchased 1 bundle from pretty proper hair in Brooklyn, it was dyed by stylist Naya who also installed it and to date no shedding has occured. I waited until July 5th and sent a text to Marcel inquiring about her vendor, Marcel has not replied. In addition the person who referred me to her was blocked on facebook. I am not sure if she blocked my calls but more than likely that is the no response from her.
In my last text to Marcel I stated that because the shedding took place within such a short span of time late April to early June that it was unreasonable for her to advertise on instagram, and facebook about good quality and a customer like me who spent over 1,500 with installations, conditioning and 2 front closures that the hair purchased by this vendor why was I not accomodated me by her vendor offering me hair from another supplier? The hair business is a big one and vendors have many suppliers The hair I purchased was colored and treated in Wicked_Threadz, I only went to her salon for hair care so there is NO reason why I who was a good customer could not have been compensated. .IT IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS AND I WILL NOT BE THE ONLY COMPLAINT!
