Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Fleming Island Reviews
I had purchased a harness from Woofgang Bakery on the 4th of September 2017 (few days prior to Hurricane Irma). My family and I were forced to evacuate Middleburg Florida due to potential damage and flooding. The harness was too small for my dog. I returned to the woofgang fleming island store on the 15 September 2017 in order to get a larger size. I explained to the owner, Mary, I was forced to evacuate and was not able to return the harness sooner. I had the receipt and the orignal bag it came in. She stated to me I was outside the window of return eventhough I wasn't. She stated I had stains and hair on the harness, however there was absolutely no evidence of this. I sent an email to the coporate office in Orlando hoping they would make an exception due to the circumstances I had incurred with the hurricane. I recieved a response back from the CEO Paul Allen. He raved how Mary is the kindest person he knows and would respect her words for any return. Paul Allen wanted me to send him the method of payment, the harness, and the bag to a store owner in Orlando FL. I found this odd because as the CEO I would believe he could tell her to allow me to get a larger size. The next day I get a new email from CEO Paul Allen with a video survillance of me purchasing the harness. I found this alarming because the store has no identification of video survillance posted anywhere and why he would send me this. He stated I had tags on the harness but would take it back anyway. I stated to him I did not have tags just the receipt, the harness, and the bag I purchased it in. I felt uneasy and threatened by his response because he took hours to look up a video to see what I looked like. I have never in my 40 years of living experienced such hostility from a business. I told my good friend what happened. She went and placed a comment on thier facebook page stating the events which took place and her opinion on her take of the whole situation. She never mentioned my identity online just the facts of the events which occurred on the 15 Sept 2017. The store owner Mary replied to her with my full name including all my aliases (previous married name, maiden name, and current married name) however my credit card only has my late husband's last name. She made libel statements and attacked my character online for thousands of people to see, plus compromising my privacy for identity theft, and safety of my family (now people know where I leave). Mary stated she would release the video survillance on the internet as well. Letting thousands of facebookers know what I look like. I was thinking how can this owner know intimate details such as my previous names unless she did a search on me online. This experience has placed me in fear for myself and my family. No one should ever have to go through this and I want to report this in order for this never happen again. I am a recent Navy widow of three children and their actions has added unduly unnecessary stress in conjuction with my grieving. I hope and pray your organization take the necessary steps to protect consumers like myself and bring their actions to justice.
