I was given a pair of vintage pacific skateboard sunglasses for my birthdy in June 2015, not even 3 months later after wearing the sunglasses 4 times, the wood had split in two at the nose. Clearly a break due to a poor quality product.
After trying for 2 weeks to contact the company, somebody finally emailed me back telling me to send in the sunglasses and they will be replaced. I sent the sunglasses in and again, about 2 weeks later received a package in the mail. To my surprise, the sunglasses had not been replaced but had rather been "repaired" Super glue was used to try to join the wood back together and they had got it all over the lense. So now I had poorly repaired sunglasses with glue all over the lenses. Keep in mind these are $120 sunglasses...
So I wooed by wood again letting them know what was going on and sending pictures of the poor repair job. Somebody again reached out to me saying would you like a different pair of sunglasses.
My response was I just want a pair that wont break. So they sent me a different pair. When the "new" sunglasses arrived it looked again like they had a large crack in them. When I looked closer i could tell that it wasnt a crack but the sunglasses had just been put together very very poorly. So I took the screw out of the sungalsses and put them back together myself.
I now have a pair of sunglasses that is still poor quality, poorly designed and the company doesnt seem to care at all!
Stay far away from wooed by wood. There are much better sunglasses out there for $120.
