Wow, i can't believe this. i did a background check on myself with the wisconsin department of justice. i was given access to their criminal record data base. they gave me access to a computer file that claims i was convicted of theft in greenfield wi municipal court in 1979. the report refers any questions about the record to the reporting agency which is greenfield. it also states that only the reporting agency, greenfield, can remove the information. guess what? captain jerk * johnson from the greenfield police sent me a letter admitting they have no record of this nor do they have any proof that they ever reported me to the wi doj in the first place. he further stated that i should contact the d.o.j. if i have any questions! i sent this letter along with a record challenge form to the d.o.j. crime information bureau and they sent me a letter back saying they won't delete the computer file even if greenfield has no record of it because it's the a*hole thing to do i guess. i then sent a freedom of information request asking for a copy of my criminal record from the d.o.j. crime information bureau. i received a letter with copies of two index cards dated 1980 from a wisconsin assistant attorney general turd ferguson in which he admits that the fingerprints on the index card do not match mine. after looking at the copies closer i noticed that the social security number is also wrong and the signature on the card is not mine. i sent a copy of this letter along with another record challenge form to the d.o.j. crime information bureau and they sent me another letter back telling me that they don't know who turd ferguson is even though all of the correspondence i have received has the same return address! i don't know who is sending me these letters because they don't have the balls to put their name or signature on them. i contacted the wisconsin state bar for a lawyer referral. the d*head they referred me to called me at home and screamed at me claiming there is a secret location where criminal records are kept. i finally hung up. i'm not sure how this information even got onto the d.o.j. web site because it's only supposed to contain misdemeanor and felony cases. the signature on the index card looks a lot like my deceased brothers handwriting. he was known in the family for using male family members info to get utility service. he used my details to get gas service and ran up over $1000.00 in charges back in the early 1980's. i discovered this when i went to get gas service for myself. so to sum up, the wisconsin department of justice claims i was convicted of theft in 1979 but they don't have any proof that i was even arrested let alone convicted and they don't even know what the charge was for to begin with. the only information they do have is 35+ year old index cards that have a forged signature, wrong social security number and wrong finger prints. the thing that really bothers me is that this information has been on file for so long. i wonder how many employers or prospective employers saw this information and made negative decisions about me. i wonder how many women did checks on me. how many job opportunities and relationships have i missed out on? i'll never know. these people are pigs but there's nothing i can do about it. these are some of the same people that helped frame avery so i guess i have to keep things in perspective.
