Wing Bikes has the worst and most deceptive customer service of any product we have ever experienced. (story below)
Our story:( This is the abbreviated version.) My husband’s brand-new bike arrived two weeks ago with a faulty (non-working) battery. We called customer service, a.k.a. Billy, who is their one and only customer service representative in the entire United States, who promised we would receive a new battery in three weeks. As of last Thursday, it had not been sent. Billy says they are still evaluating.
We can return the defective bike at our entire expense for about $100 restocking fee plus ground shipping ($200-300) to California. (The bike cost us $934.) We’d need to include a video of every single part as we repackaged unscathed bike.
We asked for the the CEO's phone number and he provided the email address for Seth Miller (CEO) who hasn’t responded to our emails. And, no, he doesn’t return phone calls. Why would the owner and CEO of a company avoid his customers.
Wing Bikes rates 85th out of 1000 e-bike companies. They are no small potatoes. I am hearing the same complaints everywhere I go on the Internet.
