I recently sought out an escort vehicle to assist in moving a modular home across the state. I came across willow tree pilot car service and gave them a call. The woman who answered the phone seemed nice at first, and after explaining rates and etc we agreed that I would pay $800 upfront. Seemed professional enough, so I did! BIG MISTAKE.
After countless calls and being sent to a voicemail that's inactive, the woman finally answers the phone with a disgustingly rude attitude saying she never received the payment and they no longer escort modular homes. WHAT?? I have an invoice emails and a billing statement that says otherwise!
She was extremely disrepectful, nasty and entitled. I told her there must be some kind of mistake. She even had the nerve to tell me not to trust so easily and to never call the f-ing number again before hanging up in my face.
Upon doing research it turns out they've changed their business name several times within a year due to similar circumstances. This scam should never happen to another person! FOREWARNING
