Fake Story to get people to believe in him:
My Pride Story which got me a scholarship and shaped my life story is here. It’s a bit lengthy.
When I was 16, I came out. Immediately after I did that, I was yelled at by my mother and was physically assaulted by my stepfather. Not only that, my stepfather trashed my room and put me on a plane the next day to live with my father, 3,000 miles away. When I got there, I came out to him. He did pretty much the same thing. One thing was different though.
My father woke up the next morning and told me everything was ok and I was who I was. Little to my surprise, that wasn’t the case. Later in the evening, my father said we were going for ice cream. We drove for what felt like forever. I knew something wasn’t right. We pulled up to a field in the middle of nowhere and my father told me to get out and never come back. I was told I was a worthless piece of trash and I was being dumped on the side of the road as such.
My parents were very radical with religion and they had me programmed to think that they were boss. I felt like I couldn’t do anything about the situation. So, I continued on. I hitchhiked back to the city and I rode the train around the city all night thinking of a plan. Then, I had a job at the end of the first day. By the end of the week, I had 3 jobs. This was just the start of the story.
A month later I had to go back to school. I couldn’t go back to school unless I forged my parents' signature and I did that. A couple years later, I graduated. I felt accomplished. I was going places.
