WildBlue Communications, Inc. Reviews

This is the worst internet service I have ever had. The only reason I got them was because I was trying to bundle my internet bill, TV bill and phone bill all together thru AT &T. I thought I was getting ATT internet and because I was out of their range, I got Wild Blue Excede. Installer could not even speck English well. He set Dish on top of my house and ran wire down the outside and then drilled hole thru the walls. My service was never good and was out of service very often. Call and coomplained several times and they finally sent someone out to work on it, but only after telling me I had to give them another $8 or $9/month for a service agreement or otherwise I would have to pay all charges. Repair man came and told me it was not installed properly the first time and he got it to work, but after I was out of service for over a month and all the times in between. I never received any credit for all the times I was out of service.

I called today, 6-12-17, tod disconnect as we are selling our house. I was told to disconnect, I would be charged $160 because my contract was not up. I have to have a contract for crapy service or no service and then pay them.

Worst experience of my life and would never recommend them to anyone. All t ime ripoff by AT & T.

I had Excede Internet using a satellite dish, until I had to move. I did my due diligence to terminate my contract and updated my contact information since I was moving. I requested a return material authorization with instructions to return the box. They acknowledged my cancellation with an early termination fee charged to my credit card, and all was well.

However, they never called or mailed instructions to return the box. I didn't know if they wanted the box or if it was out dated. I was not worried since they had both my phone and po box.

Almost a year later debt collectors started harrassing me to send them nearly $400 for the box that I could not return.

I don't know if this is a deliberate scheme to extract hundreds of dollars from leaving customers, or just incompetence. Excede / Wildblue / ViaSat had two ways to contact me, but failed to do so.
