While living in California, I spent a lot of time working as a volunteer for this organization. At one point I was spending three or four days a week at the property. Even though Katia had a small travel trailer supposedly set up for volunteers I was told I could sleep on a futon in one of the stalls.

It was only because of the woman who lived at the ranch that I returned. She opened her little home to me so I wouldn't have to sleep in a freezing stall. I spent several months donating my time and energy only to find that Katia had refered to me as "white trash" and said everything needed to be locked up because I was looking for things to sell. I have never been so insulted in my life.

I was called out to help after a severe storm and even though Katia had received a grant from the ASPCA for cleanup there wasn't even a shovel to dig drainage ditches out of the horse pens.

This woman is not who she appears to be. Anyone who thinks about assisting her or her organization in any way should be wary.

There are a lot of good rescues out there. This is not one of them.

ALERT. ALERT ALERT 501(c)3 Horse Rescue WILD FOR LIFE FOUNDATION SAVING AMERICAS HORSES Director on the run with herd. DUE DILIGENCE RECOMMENDED NO FACILITY - NO LOCATION NO ACTIVE PROGRAMS Complaints filed by former volunteers, former board members, unpaid vendors, transporters concerned with appearance of herd, ranch owners, landlirds. Director promised to 'help out' Monero Mustang's Program Originator Sandi Claypool in NM. Katia Louise, LLC 501(c)3's Director allegedly instead claimed foundership of Monero Mustang Program and proceeded to help herself out to the horses of her choice and has been on the run in Southern California since. Organization presently facing unlawful detainer in Riverside County, CA with over 200 heartbeats on her third rented ranch in two years. Completely wild herd taken from open range never been haltered, now crudely & dangerously penned with young stallions by Louise on less than three acres.

Description & pictures of rare Mystangs being used on Katias Internet & social media sites to solicit donations presently being used to pay attorneys - no horse related programs evident on any of the properties visited. Much litigation is being initiated and paid for by this director using donated funds. Louise recently fired a large Lawfirm in Temecula CA and hire new lawyers in Hemet, CA. Paid for with donations meant to provide sanctuary for horses. These animals presently have no residence. Wild Mustangs were taken from wide open range in NM with the promise of sanctuary. They are presently all penned, multiple stallions and all in small pens on about 2 acres even though access to free range available. Louise's paranoia will not allow horses away from immediate go-pro camera range. The rare mustang horses taken by this Katia Louise, LLC a domestic corporation, also known as Cathy Gentile of Carlsbad, has since been utilized in heart wrenching media propaganda and donor manipulation on websites and social media to solicit donations . Litigation pending on several fronts meant to stop this hoarding and mistreatment of wild horses. This woman and her real estate agent husband, known to us as "Mario", actually Anthony Gentile, misrepresenred their identities, intentions and organizational activities. As a former benefactor and supporter of this organization I have found that I am not alone in my disappointment. Please help to remedy if possible.

Katia Louise , founder of Wild for life Foundation.

Ms Louise from Wild for Life has repeatedly, despite several attempts to stop her, used Monero Mustangs horses to raise money for her non-profit. She claimed that 150 horses were rescued by her, and all placed by her, from Monero. Monero only shipped 50 horses to her for temporary holding, NONE of which were placed by her at any time. She has consistently raised money using Monero horses even though those horses were removed almost a year prior to the fund raising. She has purposely misled and swindled many using Monero Mustangs as her goal for funds, when Monero left a year earlier. In addition, she confiscated most of Monero's equipment claiming it was owed to her in compensation for feeding the horses while they were there, even though the horses were fed through grants, as per a non-profit org. I believe she has ripped many people off by using Monero Mustangs ,and she continues to use the Monero name for fund-raising at this time, though Monero cut all ties with WFLF over a year ago, due to what was suspected to be outright fraud, physical abuse of Monero's owner Sandi Claypool, and constant lying, her refusal to have Sandi's injuries (Broken shoulder blade) treated in any way. Instead, KAtia told Sandi she had no time for treatment, as Sandi was tasked with taking care of every single horse WFLF had, well over 60 horses, which she had to feed, water, and care for daily, as Katia would not help her, nor would Katia allow Sandi any steady help or rest. She was mentally and physically abused on a daily basis, and WFLF's horses were fed a starvation diet of two flakes of hay apiece per day. Fights and injuries were rampant due to this. When I first cam there, I was told to sign a confidentiality agreement, as well as other binding contracts, that were severely restrictive. I declined.
