Wilcox Electric is the biggest joke for a company I have ever seen; the character of these people is disgusting, they hide it well to the customers and clients but the owner is a piece of s*, crooked, lying, greedy person. He is not a qualified, licensed electrician, he pays utility workers cash under the table, buys stolen wire from street thugs, makes his electricians do illegal hot work without proper gear/tools/safety, he uses third party inspectors who get their cut to overlook shoddy work or out of date methods(code violations). Almost his whole staff is non licensed electricians that lack knowledge and ability but offer handyman electrical style work at Wilcox's unbelievable rate of $179-1st hr, 146-subsequent hours and + 52 for every helper. I am a state licensed electrician in Maryland and never seen anything like this type of practice before. I was promised re-imbursement on materials, parking meters, and incentives however none of this ever followed suit, I was even shorted numerous hours of overtime which resulted in threats of keeping a job and "that's the nature of the business" But Wilcox and his associates were getting their hands and pockets full. *DO NOT HIRE* STAY AWAY!
