Bought giftcard from Whole Foods. It was never activated but was charged on credit card. Took gift card and receipt back to them. They said it was the gift card company’s problem.

Whole Foods at the Union Station downtown Denver CO location: closely follows African Americans around the store; stands closely when they are using self-serve to checkout. At this location AAs are assumed to be homeless, however the employees aren't following the "obvious white homeless" around the store. The legitimately homeless are given grace, African Americans are not.
I brought it back to the store and showed it to Joe and he just laughed. The employees are down right rude and so is Joe, the manager. It trickles down. Don't go to this store, it is disgusting. My friend also said that she had to return some meat, because it was also disgusting.
This store is disgusting. The fish has worms. The employees are down right rude and so is Joe the manager. All of the bad reviews on yelp are true. Make sure to look at the ghostly section at the bottom of yelp for more bad reviews.
The store here has criminal activity occurring here. I have eaten at Whole Foods since it’s opening. Every stores culture is a little different from the other stores. Some stores welcome customers and have warm open minded service oriented environments however this store has so many scams that they ostracize their most loyal customers out of jealousy.
The employees are stealing here so they tell the security guard personal lies about the customers they are stealing from but Do understand this is the only, store where armed security is walking around profiling customers based on rumors from jealous employees (cashiers, bartenders, and even customer service).
They are also known all over the internet for leaving transactions open and tabs open and never closing them or re charging them. There has not been 1 positive day where rumors weren’t distributed and distracting the employees who then feel the customers aren’t worthy of transactional respect.
I have been buying mainly ginger but other items too but this is about the ginger, I've emailed, called, and posted after posting on tweeter they finally responded.
The last 2 months I have driven at least 3 times many miles to get my favorite ginger at whoole foods, but it seems the quality of the ginger went from prime to loust. Whole foods offered my a $25 gift card I declined, all I want is some one to address the colmplaint. Ginger, is it a fluke that its been slimy and old or is this your new standard?
I was terminated from Whole Foods 8 days before Christmas and was told I would not be cut a seperation check nor would I be given a seperation notice. I was given a seperation PACKET which states all wages owed to me would be direct deposited into my account.
It was not so i contacted HR and inquired. I was told that my pay would go out on payroll along with all other employees for 2 more pay periods. I wait 3 weeks for my final check which should have included my PTO and my pay at 15 dollars an hr. It did not.
Valet Statten who is HR told me the reason my pay was being held was to include this on my check. I was either paid at minimum wage which is 7.25 an hr or they did not include my PTO.
Amazon pays all employees at Whole Foods 15 dollars an hr. as of November 1st or so they claimed. Even before this increase in pay I made well over minimum wage. I was a hard working and valuable employee who had car troubles.
To be done this way is appaling. Instead of being able to move on and pursue a career doing something this company showed me I love I am stuck trying to figure out how to right this wrong.
This company no longer has the standards or the respect it once did for its employees. Even well before this incident there were many issues with how the company treats it employees.
I recently purchased the 14 ounce fresh baby kale from my local Whole Foods store. I typically use about half for one full blender of smoothy, so I decided to weigh it using my digital kitchen scale to make sure I was using exactly half. I measured out 7 ounces and put it in my drink. The remaining amount looked to be a lot less, so I measured the remaining amount of kale. It came to 3 7/8 ounces, which is a 3 1/8 ounce short or 22.3+% shorted. They don't have the nickname of "Whole Pay Check" for nothing it seems. I will be purchasing produce elsewhere from now on.
