So i got a free 5 day trial to whoeasy, so that u could search some information. I quickly found out that they do not provide anything more than i can find myself with an online search, so i cancelled, with 2 days left to go in my "free trial" period. My trial period would have ended yesterday. Today, i got notification that someone had used my card without it being present, a valuable service my bank provides. I opened the email and looked at it. It said that whoeasy santa clara pre-authorized 15.86. I knew immediately that i had been scammed. I supoosedly successfully cancelled my trial the other day, i made sure of it, because they did not provide the service that i was expecting and because i did not want to pay 15.86 a month for a service that i can do myself. This is absolutely disgusting that a website would confirm that your trial is cancelled and then charge you like you never cancelled it. I already know they're going to tell me that i went one day over into the service period so they can't refund the money. That's how they get away with this bs. I hope they realize that the funds on that card are from a government agency and i will be turning it in to them. No, it's not an ebt/cash card. But it is a government agency. Just a warning to all other consumers out there, i don't know if it will do any good, but i took a screenshot of the successful cancellation and i encourage all of you that use your phones or tablets to do the same. We have got to stop these people from doing this to us. They are ruining it for legitimate businesses because no one wants to sign up and find out the hard way that they are actually scamming, theiving frauds because getting our money back is next to impossible. Not onto that but now i have to get a new card so that they can never take another cent from me. I don't know how the people that work for internet companies like this one sleep at night. Taking anything that some one did not give you permission to take or taking it after they revoked permission is stealing. It's fraud. Next time i'll definitely check yscam before i sign up for anything, that is...If i sign up for anything ever again.
They withdrew 2 separate charges from my WU card without authorization in a 3 - 4 hour time frame. One charge was for over $16 debited around 11:30 AM Sunday July 1st and the other after 3pm same day - these withdrawals happened on a SUNDAY!!! And I don't know who the merchant is!! I had already transferred over $388 to another bank account effective June 30th. The original balance of $405 now reads as $367!!! Luckily I received 2 surprising texts alerting me to this scam!! These withdrawals were fraudulent and I wish I could press charges!!!!
Hi i payed a dollar to look a phone number up and the end up charging me 19.95 for a membership that I didn’t apply for as well as extra money for a report that I didn’t even get this is a big scam and needs to definitely be looking into stupid on my part to think it was a legitimate company I’m hoping to get my money back and as well as having who ever is behind this to be shut down and not let someone else become a victim to this company possibly prosecution

I didn’t watch my credit card and Whoeasy got me for 200.00. They got double the pleasure by charging me twice each month. When Inquired they gave me 10.00.
Somehow this company has taken $103.00 from me . i never even authorized anything! Not only that, i did a dispute and just received a letter from my walmart card denying the dispute and said i can no longer have an account with them ever again because of this stupid scam!
Made the mistake of trying their $1.00 lookup for a phone number. Since then they charged me two times a month at a cost of $19.95 & $15.86 for too many months. I wasn't checking my card close enough and just didn't see the charges. Total ripoff! I'm having my card company investigating the charges but afraid it will be a loss. SCAMMERS BIG TIME! Don't fall for it!
im still waiting for a refund , the info they gave wasnt new to me so i cancelled my subscription and they still charged my card. this was 3wks ago and i still need to be refunded

They charged me $19.95 for services. I've never given them a credit/debit card number. Theft, plain and simple.
