Wish i could give 0 stars i ordered set of rims for f250 and they didnt send enough lugnuts the sent those immediately wich was inconvieniant but manageable than they rubbed on the caliper witch wasnt a big deal cuase the manufacturer said they would fit as well so when i called them they had someone email me wich was real f***ing annoying cuase i work all day so i could only argue three sentences a day after a week of the guy calling me a lier and arguing he agrees to let me send them back he said verbatim " ok fill out this form and send them back" so i filled it out put it in the box and payed for shipping which was $100 (the form said i didnt have to pay since they didnt fit) returned to sender called them back a week later when i knew they had been delivered and he said thats not our address thats the manufacturer why'd u send them there the gaw on these people is ridiculous but a month and a half later i got my refund

I ordered four RUFF RACING wheels for my grandsons 1994 Mustang from Wheelhero. When they arrived I opened one box and made sure the wheel fit the vehicle. I then took all four still in the box to Discount Tire to have tires mounted. Discount Tire disposed of the boxes which makes sense. I get the wheels/tires home and go to mount on the vehicle. Only three of the four fit the vehicle. One wheel has the wrong lug/bolt pattern.
I contact Wheel hero and first they say they cannot accept wheel without original packaging. I agree to purchase another wheel and when I receive it I can use the box to return the incorrect wheel they shipped me.
Not until I request information to return ship the wheel do they tell me that the rim has to be in a condition that they can sell as a new rim. How can a wheel that has had a tire mounted not show signs of mounting and not be in as new condition.
So I am now faced with paying for the return shipping and pay a 25% restocking fee. They boast a wheel fitment guarantee. Can you believe this customer service? I will have to file a dispute with Paypal and see where this goes.

Let me start by saying that I truly sympathize with what happened in your case and will say this was a very unique scenario.
We apologize for the mis boxed wheel which was dropped shipped to you by Ruff Racing. We do have quality control checks that we perform in house where we disregard what the label reads and pull the wheel out of the box and actually measure the bolt pattern. Unfortunately this particular order shipped from Ruff Racing directly to you as an effort to get it to you quicker and in-turn we weren't present to inspect it.
Our terms state that all returns must be made in original packaging and that we do not accept returns for mounted products. In lieu of the situation we offered to send you the replacement wheel and have you recycle the box. After agreeing to those terms you made mention that in the process of mounting the wheel Discount Tire had damaged the wheel and that it was pretty scratched up.
The wheel being mounted is not an issue as it was never driven on and it can be cleaned, however the wheel being scratched up makes it an unsaleable product for us. Considering Discount Tire scratched it they should have been held responsible and yet we still offered to take it back.
I'm not sure what else we could have done to make things right other then offer to take back a wheel that voided our terms in multiple ways.
We been in business since 1992 and have an impeccable reputation, Rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau and have a 4.7 out of 5 rating with Shopper Approved which measures our performance from actual paying customer. That in itself should speak volumes in regards to our commitment to customer satisfaction.
If you can reply to the email I just sent you we're applying a credit to your account for the inconvenience.

If you had the original boxes and tires not have been mounted on them we would have waived the restocking fee. The wheels have a sticker on them that reads 'You mount them you own them' and as per our terms we do not take back mounted products and ask that you please test fit them all before mounting tires on them. In consideration for the mix box issue by RUFF we where willing to help you and against our policy take them back however we had to charge the re stocking fee as that's the amount we discount off the price when we sell them on ebay as used.
I ordered a wheel/tire package from them and their website stated that they would fit my Infiniti. I even called them to make sure. They did not fit, not even close. They hit the brake calipers. I ordered spacers which I didn't want to but tried to make them work. 2 of the tires were trash and couldn't be balanced at all at the tire shop even though they were supposed to be balanced before they were shipped. On top of that after I got to looking at them, they weren't even the tires I had ordered. Contacted them and they sent me 2 more tires and those 2 couldn't be balanced either. The salesman emailed me and said "well those tires are not good anyway". My Infiniti dealership said I couldn't run the spacers because they wouldn't do any warranty work on my wheel hubs if needed. I contacted whee hero again and they want me to pay shipping on 6 tires that aren't any good according to them as well as 4 wheels that do not fit unless you run spacers or lift the vehicle. And yeah they want to charge a restocking fee. They want me to pay for this when they are the ones who said "yeah they will fit". This company is a joke and they can't be trusted.
The shipping was fast.But the lug's were to short,They arrived three days later.I saw a contact us,So i did.Talked to some guy named scott .His reply was use them lugs 5 threads was fine.Telling a customer to do something like that is not only stupid,It's damn dangerous!Contacted him again.Again he insisted they will be fine.I took a wheel over to the local tire store for them to give it a shot.No go they replied,The lugs is to short,It's a liability we could be facing a lawsuit.Offered to sell me the correct lug's.I said let me talk to the company i bought the wheels and lugs from.I came home and made the call.Talked to a guy named luis.Explaned the situation.He ask does the tire store have the correct lug's.I said yes,He told me to purchase the lug's and they will reimburse on my pay pal acct.I thought thank god.Bought em 45 bucks,Total bill mounted balanced and tpms sensors.Around 125 for all.Got back on the contact us thing.And guess who scott.Sent me a note to send him a picture of the bill.So i did.Then he sent me another message saying he cant read it. Refocused the camera and sent several pictures to everyone i could.His reply was a picture of china lug's of e bay for 22 bucks.With a statement of.I TOLD YOU TO BUY THESE! And youre getting a refund of 22 bucks.This guy is a piece of shit.If he wasn't trying to get me killed he was bullshiting me.The guy named luis was a good person.The wheels worked and the new tpms sensors seem fine.However you all will not be receiving any more of my business.I am also part of a good sized car club,known as the west side cruzers a group of well over 500 vehicles.I was good as i could be.Your manager Mr scott.Shot you guy's in the foot. I purchased tires and wheels Feb, 2019. I have documented proof that the tire/wheel combination is not recommended by manufacturer. I sent tires and wheels back in April 2019 and have proof Wheels hero received them and then confirmation from Pay Pal that they sent funds of 1859.95 to Wheels hero June 24, 2019. I have repeatedly requested Wheels hero to contact Pay Pal to report they have received the merchandise to no avail. This is Consumer Fraud and have been counseled to contact Sheriffs Dept and open a Small claims action. I have attempted to call Wheels Hero numerous times and per Email and have not been successful. I do not have any merchandise and being charged 1895.95. Be warned folks these guys are scammers, those reviews on those paid review sites they have the ability to control like others have mentioned here these guys are frauds.
Not sure where all the 5 star reviews come from, but my experience was horrible. After ordering wheels for my truck, they emailed me ( not even a call ) almost 5 days later to tell me they were out of stock. If that was not upsetting enough, they tried to force a set of rims that was a customer return down my throat. I told them those wheels did not look anything like what I had ordered. They were persistent. Finally received my refund after waiting an additional 3 days. Total waste of time.
As other reviews have mentioned you order a certain brand and they'll ship you off brand black market 7 year old tires. Worse part is when I called Louis gave me the biggest attitude pretty much telling me that I had bought a cheap tire and they replaced it with another cheap tire what was the big deal. SERIOUSLY?? I researched the tire I had purchased and the reviews were good this brand I was sent doesn't even have an online site and the tire shop told me they're 7 YEAR OLD!!! I should have payed better attention to the other reviews online THE REAL ONES not the PAID ONES!!
Ordered wheel and tire package from them costing $1500 dollars. The wheels they sent me were flat,I told Scott at wheel hero and he said to take them to a shop to be "serviced". No shop in my town would touch 22 inch wheels to diagnose why these wheels were leaking. Every shop I tried, said to avoid damaging the wheel, they required a "touchless" machine to remove the tire and diagnose why they were leaking. I told Scott what the shops said and he told me to send them back for a replacement. Cost me 300 dollars to send back via fedex. Now they have the wheels, and my money, and wont give me a refund, or return/replace my wheels. They told me I needed to "arrange for local pickup of the wheels".
Local as in Florida, and I am in Pennsylvania.....Local....or Loco?
I was under the impression they had "heroic service" that is what made me order from them in the first place, and this "100% satisfaction guarantee" but they wont even answer the phone for me or return my call. All I want is my money back at this point. I am extremely not satisfied. I literally received flat wheels on Wednesday, and was at FedEx returning the wheels by Saturday. It is now the following Wednesday, a whole week later and they still have not returned my phone call or my money.
My experience with Wheel Hero is, they robbed me of $1500, they robbed me of peace of mind that online merchants with BBB banners on their site will honor their word, and not try to scam its customers out of money by selling defective items. They robbed me of $300 shipping and handling for a product that was supposed to be shipped for free and have a "fitment guarantee". They robbed me of a Saturday morning spent at FedEx shipping these defective wheels back.

I would gladly pay a restocking fee of $75 so that you can sell those wheels on ebay or whatever you do as you mentioned above, when someone has flat wheels for 48-72 hours. I hope you can resolve this issue and return my money to me in a timely manner. I really need my $1500 back so I can take my business elsewhere.

Bought rims and tires online tires are bad and the company will not pay for new tires. They said I should pay and then get reimbursement. We tried to come to an agreement but in the end I don't have money to get any other kind of work done. They want me to send the tires back or bring the rims off my truck. The problem is I do not have any other rims for me to put on my truck while they fix my tires. They will not pay a shop here where I live I told them I would go to shop of their choosing. Either way we try to fix the problem it all comes down to I need to pay the turn in the receipt. I should not have to pay for anything when the tires should have been good. They do not have a way to change out my tires and do not want to pay someone to change them for me.
Ordered Delinte tires with my package and was sent some generic atlas brand that has super bad reviews online. When I called to report the issue I was put on hold for 19 minutes and later called back and kept getting transferred to a full voice mail. Be careful with these guys, you order a brand that you take the time to research and they'll send you a cheaper low quality tire to maximize profits and when you call to report it they'll ignore your calls. Very shady business practice which I will make sure everyone learns about! No fancy reply needed - you had the chance to make it right and you didn't!!!!
purchased a wheel and tire combo. tires were a different brand than was advertised. Also the tires have only 1 rotation direction and all 4 were mounted the same way meaning they would only work on 1 side of the car now i have to go get 2 of the tires unmounted and spun around and remounted and balanced. Scott from customer support claims these are better more expensive tires. after looking it up they are not, they are about the same but they also have a lower tread wear rating so it will cost me in the long run. I have an SUV not a corvette. In short his response was " you got more expensive tires, let me know when everything is ready for pickup" sure Scott let me whip up a new pallet and ship these across the country. no sympathy, no quality control,no customer service, no partial refund offered. This place is a crappy re seller that just drop ships nearly everything under the guise of faster shipping (mine took 18 days) Be wary of buying from here, in my opinion its just a flashy website and once they have your $ they will basically tell you to pound sand.
I bought a set of wheels and tpms sensor's with lug's.Got the wheels and tpms sensors the next day,I thought great.Then 3 day's later got the lug's ,Had em mounted and balanced and ready to install,Right.The lug's only got a couple of threads,6 or 8 at most.I contacted them got a message from scott.He said that would be fine,Long as i got at least 5 thread's they would be ok,That's simply not correct.I took the wheels and tire's to a local tire shop and they declined to install them,Said this would be unsafe.Brought them back home .Contacted scott again. Received Another message saying they will be fine.At this point i found the correct lugs which had a 13 mm shank.Recontacted again and offered to pay the difference if we could just swap em for the longer set of lug's.No contact no nothing.I stated to him in a eariler message that i wasn't willing to chance tearing up the truck or the wheels with just a couple of threads holding them on.This should be an easy fix.I messaged scott again and got no reply.I am including my e mail.And im hoping to get another set.Not everyone is as through as myself.If these are the lug's that are supposed to work then there info is wrong.gonna send another message.But seriously doubt i will get a response
In March 2022 I bought a set of 4 Vision Rims for my car along with the lug nuts with a key. Two weeks later I bought another rim for my spare tire along with another set of lug nuts with a key. I wanted to buy just the key, but they only sold the set with the key. I paid $49.00 for that set. A few months ago I had a flat so I put the spare on and got the tire fixed and used that for a spare. A week ago a motorist stop me and said my whell was wobbling. I took it to my mechanic and he said they sold me the wrong wheel. I got him to use 5 of the new log nuts but they were not the right size. I called in to complain and they sent me to customer service by email. He canot talk to a live person when you have a problem. Also they did not send me a receipt with the wheels. My mechanic said the it is a wonder the wheel did not come of fthe car.I could have killed my self and someone else. These guys could care less. These guys are total rip-offs. I want a full refund on this rim and the lug nuts!!!They will not honor their warranty!!!!
