They sold me literal junk, just a metal unibody for 20K within their first week of opening. $15K-20K in electrical part cost damages, all electrical needed replacement; floor wiring harness (100FT in length), dash wire harness etc. Normally this takes skilled mechanics 40-80 hours. It took me 100 hours in -10 degree weather to replace the cars entire electrical wiring, i needed the car to work, as it was my source of income so i had no other choice. $3000-$5000 in mechanical part damages. Total $25,000 in parts for a 20K car, i was able to find parts from cars in minor collisions or else OEM it was $25,000 new from Hyundai. Would have costed $50,000 likely to repair including labor. It only had 80,000KM, it was in such bad shape, due to the disturbing and complete absolute disregard and care for the cars they sell. They can't even replace a $9 cabin air filter as promised in contract, it had bugs and dirt in it. The floor wiring harness and dash wiring harness alone was $15,000 USD in part cost, about 20K CAD.
Mis-advertised features intentionally, lied about everything, still haven't received my heated mirrors or compensation for wrong radio and other features. The car wouldn't even start for 3 weeks because their mechanics or techs for some reason cut the blue immobilizer wire on IPM pin-18. Kinda like giving a child scissors, you know? Is this the quality you want when buying a car? Do not buy a car from here. So yeah, the immobilizer was literally cut, which goes through the firewall into the engine bay to send signal to ECU to start and turn car ignition over. What i experienced and repairs i had to do is nothing short of traumatizing. However, i can build and fix any 2011-2017 Hyundai now, and have reverse engineered a lot of Hyundai's electrical and security system and other issues, i've become quite a dangerous man by accident now.
The salesperson also opened the hatch, which concealed the broken hatchback lift supports that keep the hatch open. So when I drove home from dealership the hatch was falling on my head, which is a massive safety issue. Due to not replacing the broken hatchback lift supports they also damaged the carrier cargo cover, which will be another $250 part cost, that I cannot afford, they never compensated for this either.
Edmonton Volkswagen West Edmonton, sold me a car with the wrong transmission intentionally. They sold me a manual DTC, and told me it was an automatic. I told them I wanted a car with an A/T transmission, one that has a torque converter, you know? Instead, they sold me a car with a DCT manual transmission, which looks like an automatic but it is not an automatic. In fact, DCT transmissions are rarely bought, due to the repair costs being more than the car itself and the fact that they break more than any other transmission. This resulting in me buying parts and other components for AT, losing hundreds of dollars in damages. Numerous wiring issues exist, remote start never worked and was butchered. Radio installation and wiring was extremely complicated, due to the fact i never knew this was an AT. Radio wasn't navigation model (they advertised as nav model), which is apple car play upgradeable, so aftermarket apple carplay costed me $1500. Non Nav models are NOT upgradeable to apple car play, in which can be done with a literal usb stick, major market manipulation and vexatious false advertisement on their part. They also falsified an entire AMVIC mechanical inspection assessment, with about 2 dozen falsifications. They cleared 6 OBD2 error codes prior to test driving. After i bought car, 6 error codes showed up on instrument cluster half way home. They even falsified an air bag DTC code, when i told them they need to replace this, they didn't. They never did oil change, never changed cabin air filter. They put wrong batteries in key fobs that were all low voltage, that they said they changed in bill of sale, which was untrue. The wiring of car was never grounded and reversed polarity was present, causing evaporation of my driver side floor harness and car explosion, which almost killed me. Widespread electrical issues that are hazardous are still present, complete negligence. They just don't give any f*ck about you as a customer.
