West Coast Auto Craft Reviews

  • Dec 15, 2016

October of 2014 I contacted Christopher J Miranda, Owner of West Coast Auto Craft - Now Located at 5900 Pruitt Ave. Windsor, CA 95492 - Phone # 707-894-3322 Cell Phone # 916-719-7126

To do work on my 1953 Pontiac Car. He provided a written Estimate in the amount of $7,770. We negotiated a price of $5800 On 10-10-14.

He Picked up the Car on 11-11-14. at which time I cut him a Check for $2800.

Then in December of 2014 after not hearing from him, I contacted him to get a progress report - He gave me the name of a Company to talk to about front end parts - I contacted them and they recommended that they work with Chris directly because they needed measurements on the frame.

I sent Chris Miranda at West Coast Auto Craft a Check for $3200 for the Parts for the Front end. Contacted him in May 2015, he said they were working on the car and would chat with me at Autorama and his Fabricator broke his ankle, so not much work had been done yet, and would work on the car when he returned.

From that point forward there were numerous contacts trying to get a status on the car, always an excuse (I have all Text and email conversations).

I began getting frustrated at the 1 year point 11-2015, I decided I wanted to sell the car and told him I needed it back so I could post it for sale.

He said he wanted to buy it or that he had a buyer but never produced the buyer or payment - Just a stalling game.

I asked for pictures of the work he did to that point and never received any.

After losing potential buyers because I was unable to produce the car or pictures, I threatened to go pick up the car on May 4th 2016 (16 Months after he first picked up the car).

He said he would drop the car off - which he did on May 3rd - However he dropped it in front of my house facing the wrong way on the street Blocking my wife's car in the driveway and took off.

Nothing Has been done to the Car. I have before and after Pictures - I had to hire a person to move the car from the front of my house.

I have Filed Claims with the BBB, Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR), and Sonoma County District Attorney.

West Coast Auto Craft Responded to the BBB Stating that they Agreed that they Owe me money for non performance of Work. The BAR continues to investigate and has numerous claims, I have attempted Settelement Agreements whiich have been breached.

I have filed Small Claims Action.

I encourage anyone considering to do business with Chris Miranda, West Coast Auto Craft or his wife/girl friend, Pamela Malfa to Beware! Check out the Victims Page on Facebook, Read the many reviews online, take a look at the website www.westcoastautocraftsucks.com before doing business.
