We Clean Carpets is the most unprofessional business I have ever worked with.
I hired the company to clean a couch back in October. After the initial cleaning, in which the technician tried to have me more than I was quoted, my couch was left ruined and the rug surrounding it had water damage. I called and they tried to send the same repair man out to clean it but he missed his scheduled time several times. Finally, I gave up on getting the couch repaired.
Today, I finally received a call back from them today (7 months later) to offer me a discount. Karen was who I spoke to and after I told her about my ruined couch, she hung up on me. When I called back, I asked to speak to her manager, which she said she was. When I asked if I could speak with someone else, she gave me no other options.
The cleaner comes and does a poor job of carpet cleaning. On drying, the carpet showed stains in several areas (browish). I called the Owner - John who told me that his technican will come and sort it out.
The technican comes in and states that the stains were already present in the carpet. However he cleaned up again and the old stains disappeared and new stains appeared in different places when the carpet dried up, by evening.
I called and spoke to John, who told me that the new stains were because of some old water damage on the carpet and if it needs to be cleaned again, he wants another $90.
What is frustrating and immature with the rip off is , because they are stating that these were old water damage stains. If so
- How come the stains disappeared when the carpet was cleaned (when wet)
- How come the stains appeared only when the carpet dried up ?
- How come the old stains (brown patches) disappeared when the technician came a second time to clean up?
- How come new stains appeared after the second cleaning at spots completely different from the first time ?
It is evident that they are using staff and technicans who do not tell the truth, use substandard chemicals and dont do a job properly.
These people are irresponsible and I was ripped off. Public must know this and must resist using this company in whatever form they open up.
