Maxwell Swason, We Can Build It LLC., was hired to install plumbing, electrical, HVAC and some reframing back in February 2017. Mr. Swanson advised payments would need to be made in 1/3 increments in order to secure contractors and gather supplies. Because I had been to actual job site I felt comfortable proceeding with a written contract that both myself and Mr. Swanson signed. Mr. Swanson took the money, February 14th, but failed to do the job. Upon request of funds, he returned 1/4 of the money paid to him but did not and has not returned the rest. I spoke with Mr. Swanson on several occasions upon which he stated he had the money and would meet to pay but never came through. On 4/26/17 Mr. Swanson adivsed he would pay the money back on 4/28/17; however, on the 28th, he was unable to be reached. I have seeked assistance with the BBB and the city (summons) but Mr. Swanson has been able to dodge them both. The BBB advised they were unable to deliver the complaint as the mail was returned undeliverable. I went by the establishment and confirmed that he is still at the location provided in my initial complaint. I seek retribution for such underhanded tactics. He talked about keeping a good relationship; however, I know of no relationship that last under such conditions. Mr. Swanson should not be allowed to have a license under any circumstances if he has no intentions to do right by the customer.
