The Waurika High School School board is extremely corrupt, and has been secretly blacklisting male students since the early 1990s!
I went to Waurika High School in the early 1990s and I remember the girls from the classes of 95, 96, 97 and 98 being called to a meeting in their homeroom. Mrs. Hinshaw was the Home economics teacher at that time and she and our homeroom teachers had a list of male students that we were told to stay away from.
Mrs. Hinshaw said that these male students were troublemakers, and were dirty. She said they have dirty fingernails. She gave us a list of these male students and we were told to ignore them if they tried to talk to us girls. None of the football players or basketball players were included in that list. It seemed as if they were cherry picking male students who were not involved in athletics, or Agriculture classes.
We asked why we should ignore them. We were told because they will cause us a lot of trouble. One of homeroom teachers Myra Berry was there and she told us that the male students on that list were violent and could sexually harass us girls. We were told if they tried to talk to us that we needed to tell them as soon as possible.
Mr. Snider was the principal and also told us to come to his office and tell him if the male students on that list communicated with us. I was just a teenage girl! I was told to follow the rules. I had no idea that these were lies that the school board was spreading about the blacklisted male students!
Mr. Snider called the males on that list troublemakers, and said they will be in jail someday. So me and the other girls in my class did what the teachers told us. One of the males on that list had a little brother who died in a three wheeler accident in 1995. His name was Clint Berry. Clint was not related to the teacher Myra Berry.
After Clint's brother died he was very depressed. He used to walk to the auditorium and sit there alone after his brother's death. I broke the rules one day and sat beside him and talked to him. Mr. Snider called me into his office and asked why I was talking to him.
I told him I felt bad for him. He told me that he'll get over it, and that I need to focus on school and getting good grades and stay away from the male students that were on that list. I did what he told me while in school but outside of school was a different story.
Well I just found out that the Waurika school board is still holding these secret meetings with the female students and blacklisting male students who they believe are troublemakers! This needs to go viral! I had no idea what was going when I was a teenager, but now I believe it's a conspiracy to turn blacklisted male students into future criminals!
Many of the male students on that list never married, and are struggling to find jobs now! Some of them did become criminals and are now dead!! If you are a male student attending Waurika High School, and you're not into football or agriculture, you need to talk to your parents about going to another school. These comments are based on my experience of Waurika High School and my opinions.
