Called local plumbing service, Watson Plumbing. Emphasized, it is not an emergency put us at the bottom of the list. I have a leak. Said they would send someone out. I met them at the house showed them the hole i already dug exposing the pipe where the leak was coming from. I asked how much to fix it? he said would not know until he got all the tools and parts together. I told him where i worked right up the road and he said wow you must make a lot of money. I said no i don't. He said you got a lot of horses you must have money. i said no we dont we do therapy for kids with disabilities its a non profit and we are broke. should have known he was going to overcharge me with the money comments. well all they had to do was splice some pvc pipes to fix a leak, probably about 20-40 dollars worth of pvc. i even used my shop vac to suck the water out of the hole for them and told them not to fill the hole in i would do that. i went back to work and my wife paid the bill when they got done. 389.00 for about 1 hours worth of work. They would not give a price before starting or i would have told them now way. then they charged me thinking i had money just beacuase of where i worked and had horses. complete rip off. Called the office to say they charged too much and secretary must get the calls all the time she said she would send itemized list and hung up.
