The park has become a TOTAL ripoff in recent years! Management has refused to add anything to the value of a general admission ticket and it's been ELEVEN years (since 2008) since they added a major new ride (Walter's Wild Slide hardly counts since it's only for little kids and is too minor of an addition).
The list of ripoffs will make your head spin: they've drastically cut their park hours, their food is mediocre and overpriced, their bathrooms are filthy and unsanitary, they keep raising general admission prices while adding nothing in the park you can access through general admission, and they do not take seriously the many negative reviews they have online, instead offering nonsense boilerplate newspeak.
They refuse to make any improvements to the park and just shift blame to business regulations (which everyone has to follow and are intended to prevent employees and consumers from being exploited and ripped off). The employment conditions are laughably bad: Micromanagement, standing all day, you will never make more than minimum wage, etc.
They also like to bring in cheap foreign labor from Europe instead of hiring local Americans and paying them fairly. Resultingly, their employees don't care, are poorly trained, and some speak barely any English. The owner (and the rest of ownership) is a greedy pig. Avoid this place at all costs until or unless they start cleaning up their act and listening to their customers.
Just stick to Seabreeze, Hersheypark, or the NYS Fair. They desperately need an outside consultant to come in and fix things. Sadly, they'll probably never change because everything has become about the absolute bottom line and they just don't care about their employees or customers any more. What an absolute shame!
