Jonathan Moore was hired under the name Waterfirepro to make repairs to my house after a fire in 2015. House still not fully repaired.
I hired this contractor back in 2015 to repair my house after a fire. I was out of my house for over a year and I had to push Jonathan Moore the owner just to get back into my house after many failed inspections. I was finally able to move in June 2016 while he finished the work. It is at this point that he had all 70k on the money from the insurance company. They have failed several inspections due to errors on drawings that the they provided to the county for permitting. So. I contacted the county and they stated that the contractor just needed to have the drawings redone. The contractor agreed to have the redone and resubmitted to the county. I followed up many times and I was told that they were being worked on a month and a half later, i receved a response finally. Jonathan Moore stated that the architect had passed away and that this was not his problem as he was not an engineer. He stated that he would give me the information for the architect firm and I would have to handle that myself. My insurance has been cancelled. I can not get insurance due to open permits and no proof of repairs completed. I let the contractor know this and received no further response. The registered GC and I believe owner of this company Jonathan Moore not responded to any of my messages there has been three to four month periods where I have not heard from him. I fear at this point that he is just taking the money and running and that I am going to lose my house as I can not insure it as required by my mortgage company. The other issue that I have is that I have requested full accounting of the money spent and receipts for that work that had been completed as this was requested by the insurance and also bu me. I have never received anything.
