On 9-5-19, I took my Windows XP computer into Wasatch Multimedia Computers for a repair. It would not boot up. Mark Yount, owner, repaired it and I paid $268.13 on October 16, 2019, via. check # 11945. I took the computer home and it would not boot up like it was before the repair.
On October 24, 2019, I took the computer back into to Wasatch Multimedia Computers for "warranty work". Mr. Yount had to install more parts including a motherboard since the one he "repaired" failed. He also installed a parallel printer port for $20.00. I paid that repair in the amount of $235.95 on December 27, 2019, via. check #11969. I took the computer home and the parallel printer port would not work.
I had to buy a USB mouse since Mr. Yount switched out the motherboard with one that did not have the normal mouse and keyboard round plugs. That cost me an additional $15.00. Mr. Yount's explanation is that he thought I was using USB for the keyboard and mouse. He had the old motherboard which showed him I was not using USB mouse or keyboard. The USB flash drive when used to backup files will cause the computer to disconnect from the internet for a while. To have someone else look at it is $50.00 minimum.
On December 27, 2019, I advised Mr. Yount of the issues. Mr. Yount has not offered a resolution. On March 3, 2020, I advised Mr. Yount via. email I was filing a complaint with Consumer Protection. He failed to respond.
