Stay away from Walgreens precription savings card. It is a scam I never signed up for it, yet they charged my credit card 70 dollars and refuse to give me back my money!
I have Glaucoma and need medicine for my eyes so I do not lose my sight. After my doctor prescribed the medicine and sent the prescription to this Walgreens, and my insurance approved the prescription, the pharmacist Nehal Amin (Nehal Kumar) refused to fill the prescription. After hours of frustration I called a non-Walgreens pharmacy and asked to have this prescription transferred. About an hour later the non-Walgreens pharmacy called to tell me I could pick up my filled prescription. They also informed me that when they called Walgreens to transfer the prescription Nehal Amin (Nehal Kumar) told them NOT to fill this prescription. It is bad enough that Nehal Amin (Nehal Kumar) refused to fill my needed prescription but to try to PREVENT me from obtaining my doctor prescribed medication is beyond belief, in my opinion CRIMINAL. I believe that at the very least she is liable for violating my civil rights as well and deliberately intending me physical harm (Causing me to lose my vision.) In the hours preceding to call to the non-Walgreens pharmacy I called the corporate headquarters of Walgreens to complain. I was treated very rudely. Three calls to the corporate office and the same treatment. I would rather stick my finger in an electrical outlet than ever call therm again. The corporate office refused to give me the name of the pharmacist as I stated I intended to file a complaint against her license. They only gave me a first name and that I could get the rest on their web site--which is a lie. Well I found her name as you can see and her license #051290481 NPI# 1548543341All that Walgreens web site has available the first name
The Walgreens store managers are banning me from the store for something I did not do, because what happened was in the pharmacy department on March 13, 2019 I was gonna get a flu shot. The black girl pharmacist Nicole was rude and disrespectful to me. She got an attitude with me and She gave me a bad attitude about the flu shot medication and vaccine.
She lied to the store managers and She lied to the security guard about me spitting on her and jumping over the counter and that did not happen. The store managers Brian and Mr. Jones, the security guard trying to send me to a different Walgreens to get my flu shot.
The store managers and the security guard believed her and her story over mine and got me banned from the store in 2019 and this year!!! This store runs a bad business because of panhandlers be hanging outside in front of the store asking, bothering and harassing customers for money and change.
I hope this Walgreens loose business and close down in the future because I ain't shopping at this Walgreens no more if the managers wanna do this kind of stuff to me. I'm shopping at a different Walgreens somewhere else!!!
The worst experience that I have here in decades. Items without price tags, and when scanned with Walgreen App the prices it shows for current location will be a different price when you pay at cashier. This is total scam, I want to file lawsuit for this kinda falsifying way of doing business.

Moving to the Edgewater area in Chicago has been very challenging. This is the third negative experience I have encountered from local stores. So now I will tell my story. Tonight I went to Walgreens approximately 9:30 p.m. to take advantage of my $6 Walgreens cash rewards coupon. After spending over $30 in purchases a few days ago I received this "coupon" stating that I will get $6 Walgreens cash rewards benefits off my next purchase if I spend over $20. If done so by 3/23/2021. Here's the problem. When I got to the register Manager Matt rang up $38 in purchases and stated that my $6 Walgreens cash rewards will come off my next purchase. I stated "no sir, this is not what this coupon says. This coupon states that I will get $6 Walgreens cash rewards off on my next purchase, and this is my next purchase".
Of course I left the items on the counter and went home, got my glasses and read carefully, elaborately. Accepting the fact that I had just been wronged and willing to give Matt the opportunity to make things right I went back up to the store and stated the latter. Matt was adamant about his position. I then told Matt that he would read about it. He had a smile/smirk on his face as I was leaving. Lets try to decipher his behavior. Is this racism, discrimination, or apart of a hidden cult setting out to virtually humiliate/aggravate me. Projecting this behavior is something Matt is comfortable doing. Because this character is apart of a "smoking mirror" designed to entrap innocent people.
I can imagine anything when I should not be imagining anything at all. I patronize these local stores for necessities. I speak and socialize with my neighbor, I treat people fairly, and I'm non judging towards anyone: Race, creed, beliefs, background, etc. With the Covid 19 and many problems that we are having in Chicago we do not need people like Matt servicing the public. I am sure there are many complaints behind the scene in reference to his character/personality.
Finally, I am 62 years old and live a quiet tranquil life. I should not be subject to the illegalities by the local police, district attorney, states attorney, Politian's, etc. This is also a form of harassment. I will try to add an image of the coupon with the posted date and refer this issue to the corporate management as well. I also have an intermediate witness (Walgreens employee) and also another customer. Thank you for reading. Have a great day.
Paid for medicine through their online app but when I went to pick them up they tried to charge me again. I even showed them where the charged my credit card but they said I had to pay again. What a rip! I called their customer service number and all they wanted to do was talk over me so I yelled at them and they hung up. I called my credit card company to cancel the charges but they said they couldn’t do anything until the charge was processed. What a scam these comps have going. They need to be stopped.
[1] co.'s customer contact page rejected my e-letter because it FALSELY claimed my VALID address was not valid.
[2] I was forced to return UNOPENED product purchased only 7 minutes earlier due to allergy-inducing contents. Received only 50%$ back due to apparently new NOT POSTED COMPANY CORPORATE policy. Tried to e-write to them and ANOTHER e-contact form problem: an "optional" item caused another rejection when I tried to submit and when I hit lookup for optional item it knocked out entire e-letter I had written claiming "optional" non-answer was invalid! HORRIBLE!
[3] not big $ but BIG prinicple, NO POSTING OF NEW POLICY ANYWHERE AT CASH REGISTERS.
My husband's anxiety meds were shorted two pills of thirty for one month. The next month all thirty were in bottle. This month the count was six short.I called Walgreens and spoke with Andrea the pharmacist.Andrea told me the pills were automated count and she would check it and he could come get the six pills that were missing.I was reading other reports online and this seems to be a problem with walgreens.I think it is time to switch pharmacy.Make sure you count your meds before leaving counter.
