I had ordered an article of clothing online as a holiday gift from Walmart. When I went to checkout, I noticed an additional cost of $23.50 had been added to my bill. The item simply read "Additional Fee". After trying to get an answer from various sources, I finally resported to contacting Customer Service trhough their online chat function. My initial contacts there at Walmart also had no idea what the "additional fee" represented and they did not find it anywhere in the product description online,. I spent time myself combing through the language tio see if I had missed an explanation... there was nothing there. Eventually, witht he help of some supevisors, I was told that this "fee" must be a "Marketplace Fee", added on by the supplier to the cost of the sale.
Walmart acknowledged that there was no explanation on the product description but they would not honor the printed price ($39.99). They tried to offer me a $15 discount even before they found out what the "additional Fee" was.
Ultimately, they acknowledged the fact that the price listed was not the price they were going to sell it as. The "additional fee" had to be added. I believe this practice is not legal in any retail establishment. The listed price IS the price even if it had been marked incorrectly. In this case, Walmart stood y the fct that the price of the item was, indeed, as noted, $39.99 BUT in order to receive it, I would have to pay an additional $23.50.
I belive this is an unethical sales process and, if this was widespread, there would be significant marketplace confusion. I wish to complain about Walmart's dishonesty in regards to its published prices.
Take a small servay to get the gift cards 1 ive completed servay's 2 servay's aren't small servay's it's a scam to being forced to participate in baying amacth,persay on servay's call,s.contantly herasing me to buying the servay match.if don't persepatate.. I don't receive my winning gift card,s from Walmart take servay only to receive.not be forced to participate in baying amacth...
Wal-Mart and some other businesses have contracted a gang of thugs to fine truckers $500 for parking on their property nevermind, the truckers are buying their goodies.
I suggest that if truckers cannot park on their property, Wal-Mart needs to keep its trucks out of truck stops taking up truckers' parking spaces.
A solution to this problem is for truckers to dump a little DEF into Wal-Mart's fuel tanks when their trucks are found in a truck stop parking lot.

I Crystal L been shopping at Walmart for years. I AM 50 years old that goes to tell you how many years. On September 2nd 2017 I had to make another trip by taxi for the household grocery. I just bought a house in Munice Indiana. I been going back and forth to Walmart due to not having a car . I would say within a week I've spent over 1,200.00 at Walmart. I bought my TV, Mini refrigerator, microwave, electric stove camping equipment. electric heaters for the winter. Now on this day my focus was getting plenty for the winter.
First I stopped at Goodwill 50%sale to get me & my daughter Natisha L my daughter has bipolar. Some days are good some days no good, she unemployed so I've been buying things for her and I. So wanted to get our winter clothes out the way. After Goodwill I went over to Walmart. I told Natisha since we have a cart with the Goodwill bag you can just sit with it and I'll do the shopping by myself. Natisha told me she was going to the bathroom. I was shopping and listening to my music from my phone. After I was done shopping paid for all my this like close to 200 worth grocery and personal items. I told Natisha to call our cab. Natisha said I'm going outside" I said "we'll wait, you got to help me with these bags" do we headed toward outside I stopped by the receipt people so they can check my bags seen that everything was paid for in full like my house. Natisha was ahead of me but Lost Prevention was reaching in my Good Will bags with law enforcement being there so I'm confused. I wanted to know what s going on. They told me ..they seen my daughter putting their things in my Good Will bags including boots. I told them stop going through my private bags I'll go through it. Natisha did have about 20$ worth of items pack of socks, she cut her hand on our new stainless steel sink. She had things to fix her hand. Now as I start to pull out things I'm upset with Natisha at this point. I pulled out all my boots I paid for at Goodwill. That lost Prevention said she stole. They kept asking if we could go to the back. " I said not until Law Enforcement get here.
When the officer came I still was pulling out everything I bought from Goodwill my boots sweaters. I put the down on the floor so we can see if there was anything else in my bag. Walmart workers didn't want other customers to hear or see what was going on. When the police arrive I'm still pulling my clothes out the bags. I'm upset with my daughter cause I had the money to pay for the items she took. " I'm asking her why would you do this to me"? All you had to do was ask" As a mom I'm heated cause it made me look as if I did something wrong. The Walmart Lost Prevention white woman taking down the information. She slipped up and ask my black daughter. If she had on a wig. Huh,? I told her that's Irrelevant to the issue at hand regarding her. As a Paralegal I didn't understand that question. The white lost Prevention lady said" oh cause I wasn't sure of her hair color
