I retired a while ago, and VRad assured me they will give me an opportunity to work with them doing teleradiology if I enrolled in an accredited mini fellowship in order to bring myself up to speed.
The fellowship would require I read a given number of cases of various modalities - ( type and number were pre- determined by VRAD) and obtain references form such fellowship.
I paid $thousands for the training, and a few days before I completed the fellowship, VRad called me to announce that they decided not to work with me unless I extend my fellowship to a six month period of time. This changed the whole agreement we had, and I find this unethical. I will submit this grievance with documentation to the ACR where I am a a board certified member.
