My wife and I paid $1400 to join this company which promised great travel discounts. We booked one vacation with them and saved maybe $200.00. After that, each time we compared their prices for hotels, cruises and guided tours with what we could find on the internet with similar accommodations, we discovered that this companies prices were much higher, even with a so-called rebate. Examples: 1) We asked for prices on a Royal Caribbean 7 day cruise to the western Caribbean and were quoted a price of $1100 per person. We booked with another agency for $799 each with a $100 credit. We asked this company to find a hotel in Key West in the mid-range price category and their best deal was for $250 per night. We were able to book the same category hotel for $150.00 per night. Recently, we asked this company to give us a quote for a 9 day guided tour of Costa Rica. Their price was $3000. We were able to book practically the same tour with the same route and hotels for $2100. We just received a bill to extend the membership for 1 year at $249.00 ($199 for the extension and $50 processing fee--how does it cost $50.00 to process something like this?) Additionally, the company sends out a special week rental list for condos. When we tried to book one of those weeks, we were told that the price was triple that of the advertised price!
This club probably works for wealthy people who do not want to take the time to check the internet for deals. But it is a ripoff for seniors on fixed incomes!
