I filed complaint with BBB. Illinois states Bar and New York! This place is a joke! I paid the $1800.00 to assist me on a bankruptcy and the lawyer conveniently resigned and they were unable to file for me and refuse to pay me back. I gave this place a one star because I wasn't able to give a 0! DO NOT USE THESE CRIMINALS!!!!!!! Jessica Mchale/ McClean the owner is the biggest scam artist of them all!!!!
Called by volks anwalt law to help with advice to help with mortgage company taking house after husband passed away September 26, 2015, Lisa Harrelson , (first) contact , then cameron, accountant, taking money from bank account, waited for return call from lawyer called, many times and email also never heard from anyone but Hollis and cameron (accountant). Months goes by and no one every contact me, so I contacted. Federal trade commission to investigate. They last stayed i owed $500.00 yet to file bankruptcy. Waited but no call back from lawyer or anyone. Still have not heard from office ,lawyers or accountant.
Volks Anwalt law claims to be foreclosure defense law firm. They are scam artists. I spoke with Nicole Hall (probably not her real name), She claimed to be a paralegal with the firm.
She assured me that the firm will represent me in my foreclosure case. She said they would consult with me to gather necessary information and documents for defense lititgation, negotiate with my creditors, file all pleadings and motions that present legally viable challenges to the Judgement or Legal action, pursue any state or federal administrative remedies that may be available and respond to written correspondence from my creditors.
They have done absolutely none of that. They took my retainer fee and went completely silent. It has been 1 month since I retained them and they have not done one thing to earn the fee that I paid them.
I have requested my money back and they sent me an email stating their no refund policy. I am reporting them to the FBI for fraud. I have learned that they have scammed many many others. There are enough of us to go to the FED together to get them to take action.
Be warned do let what happened to us happen to you. Do not do business with Volks Anwalt. They are crooks.
They told me to pay for a fee for services. Fees were paid. They were very good at first, but after one denial they won't return my calls or emails. I've had to do paperwork myself from social security and file an appeal myself. Now I'm trying to get my money back but i can't get through to talk to anyone.
I hereby request a hearing to see how i can get my money back i was paying a mortgage threw them and they was not paying it and i lost my house because of them and i would like to know how do i go about taking them to court? you may contact me at this concern carl davis and dennis goodson

I hired the Law Firm for my son and paid 3500$ for Services not rendered! The Lawyer already had him Guilty without Reading the Substantial Evidence! Now she has Recuse herself without him having another Lawyer from that firm how? I have a Contract with them!

too my 5000 dollars and closed my case never did a thing for the money
this is a scam Nicole tells you haw they will go after your lender and get them to modify tour loan then take your money and run
