This past October, 2015, I looked online for a good PC support service for my home computer, at the time Volcy PC Support looked like a good choice. I was offered 2 choices for payment, either a one time charge, or a whole year which seemed like the best way to go, since the computer problem that I was having would return over and over again even with other pc support services. Now, these other services gave me a refund, since they could not permantley fix my problem. But this service seemed to fix it and was good for a long time. Approximately half way thru the year the problem for some reason returned again. when I called again to get more help I kept on getting the same message over and over again that the company was doing a computer upgrade over the weekend and should be completed by Monday. I also left message with my name and number so they could contact me. Well, this has been going on for over 2 months now, the same message over and over again. I have emailed them asking to return my calls, and no one has called me back.
I emailed them that I was only seeking half the money I paid, since I did use 6 months worth prior to this recent call, and still no response. There must be a way for the BBB to track these people down. I am not sure if the employees are in on the rep off, but I am sure the owners or the head of this company is a big rep off artist. This service to me was not cheap, I paid more then I should of, because they did fix my problem at the time, but now I am betting that they took the money and ran.
I am hoping that the BBB can get these people and help prosecute them for leaving all there customers in the dirt. I know there are scams and rip offs but I did not think of would be one of those customers who trusted them to be there for us when we needed them.
They probably have no remorse, over what they have done and I can only hope they get caught and sent to prison.
