I fell for this scam as well.. I ordered a bottle of a weight loss supplement. i was told the bottle was free and I only had to pay 5.95 for shipping.
I did get the bottle and was charged the 5.95, but a few weeks later I noticed a charge for 59.95 + 49.95 that I did not authorize. i immediately called customer service. The woman I talked to was very rude. She did not listen to anything I said and just kept trying to push the product on me.
She told me that I had signed up for a 14 day trial and since I did not cancel within those 14 days, i got charged the original price for the bottle. Nowhere on their website, emails, or shipping slip did I see anything about this. I knew nothing of a 14 day trial or being auto billed monthly for 59.95 & 49.95.
I demanded a full refund repeatedly and asked for my account to be closed. She did close my account, but refused me the refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor, she ignored me and just kept pushing the product. I asked to speak to a supervisor again and she hung up on me.
This is not right. There are companies all over the internet like this that are just out to scam people out of their hard earned money. It needs to stop.
1 month later I have 2 pending charges for $54.98 and $56.98 from VL Health on my bank statement. I called 3 times to VL Health customer service and was on hold for over a half hour. Finally the 3rd time some lady picked up the phone. After I explained that I did not singe up for anything but the “free” samples I asked were was it stated about the reoccurring shipments because I looked for anything that may have stated that before I sent my request for the free samples. She goes on to tell me that it is not on the web page but on a follow-up email that the samples have been mailed. Talk about deception! Then she said they have canceled my account, I explained that I did not sign up for any account. She then interrupts me saying that I will no longer reserve the shipments and that they will not refund my money then hangs up on me. To top all of this off the fraudulent charges overdrew my account. I have since opened a fraud claim against VL and await a ruling. BUYER BEWARE!
I also ordered 2 “free” samples of Magadrox and Testadrox, all I was supposed to do was pay shipping. 1 month later I have 2 pending charges for $54.98 and $56.98 from VL Health on my bank statement. VLHealth offered a free trail of their supplements for the cost of shipping. After that, they have deducted $169.85 out of my account without delivering any product and without my permission.
I used my debit card to pay for "shipping" for two products ordered. I never received either one! Before calling after waiting almost 3 weeks I checked my bank account. They charged me the two shipping charges and charged me an additional $59.99 and $49.99 a week later. I called and he said he would resend the trial I never received but they were unable to give my money back for the other two charges. I did not authorize either of these transactions to take place
I ordered a sample of a beauty cream and they sent me that plus another cream that I did not order. Then they deducted 69.95 from my checking account. They will not refund my money because they said I had 14 days to cancel. Today was the 15th day they said. I have not had the product for 14days. I did not want to get into their automatic plan.
Signed up for these supplements in April fully aware of the 30 day trial. On day 29 we called back, negotiated a price and was told they would ship out within the week.
Then my husband lost his debit card, and we had to cancel it. That started a downward spiral of events.
Long story short, after calling and giving them new card info, they continued to try and charge our canceled card. So our order never arrived. This went on for a month. Calling nearly every day and being told they couldn't find out account, we had so many cancellation numbers but oddly enough they could never find them.
Finally I spoke with a woman who told me our account was closed, our orders were canceled and we would NOT be charged. Until our July statement came where we had two charges for the products, two shipping charges, and two trial charges. A total of $125.78 for a product that we never received and didn't want. When I called back to dispute those charges the representative for VL Health told me that we signed up for the program and we were charged because our trial ended. Um....... He then went on to talk over me, told me hope we enjoyed their products and hung up. Nice guy.
Now Visa is handling the dispute. This is the biggest rip off company. They make it nearly impossible to cancel or change your order. We must have made close to 20 phone calls to get this taken care of. I never encourage sales from Amazon, but in this case if you want to try Megadrox or Testadrox (which my husband LOVES) I wouldn't buy it through VL Health.
My husband ordered a "free" sample of Genetics just for the cost of shipping - .99, $1.99, and $4.95. Never received the sample. Did receive a bottle of Metabomatrix (which he didn't order). Checked our bank statement today and there is a $59.95 charge from this "company". He called to question the charge. He explained that all he wanted was the "free" sample and nothing else. He was told there was this 14 day free trial period and because he "ordered" on June 29th it was too late to cancel and therefore could not receive a refund. My husband tried to explain that he never agreed to any automatic shipments or additional charges. Oh but sir you did blah, blah, blah, blah did not listen to what my husband was saying and would not transfer to a manager. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS SCAM COMPANY.
I received the Metabomatrix free sample and was sent another bottle in less than 2 weeks called them and they siad if I sent it back they would take it off my card. What they did do is charge me twice at 59 + dollars and now won't give me the credit they said they would. now I am out over $120. dollars.
I ordered the product offline and was charged .99 + 4.95 after reading the label I did not feel safe taking the product. I was than charged before the 30 day free trail $59.95 so I called and they offered 40% less refund I declined and mailed the unopen bottle back to them. This product has cost me $75.46 total and I never used it. I called to make sure they have received the product and they say it will take up to 2 weeks to return. I ask if they can just tell me it has received and they give me a speech about 2 weeks and hang up. I called back and same thing over and over. I just want my money back please.
Well i was research products and came acroas megadrox and saw the trial. I was charged the .99 and the 3.99 for shipping. I was letter contacted by a rep from the company confirming everything and was told i would get a phone call before any charges will be applied for my account to continue to receive the product but that was a lie. I woke up this morning and there was a $59 charge to my account. I called and of course they try and offer you a discount and i explained that i didn't authorize them to take money out and the individual said well we sent a 30 day supply for a 21 day trail. So for the remaining 9 days you want me to pay $60. They was not helpful all he did was cancel the reoccurring charges and told me because it was a trail i couldn't get my money back. Don't buy anything from this company. I will continue to contact them to get my money back.
