On October 10th, 2017 I filed out an info request box on the internet and before I even got to the end I was called by a representative. The representative told me the offer was for a month supply of the Vita Fit Garcinia supplement and all I would be responsible for would be the $4.95 shipping. I agreed to just that. There was never a mention of future orders, a program, trial period, etc. When he told me the total it was $9.90 and I said I thought it was $4.95! He then explained that there were actually two bottles of the supplements, the being a Vita Fit Mango Cleanse and that they work together so I agreed to the price of $9.90. Again never a mention of a trial period or future orders, or a program, etc. I received my supplements in one package, although, I have not opened them. Yesterday, in October 24th this conapnay charged me a total of $169.98 for the same two bottles of supplemrts that I received. When I called the number to find out why they would do that and to receive a refund, I was told I signed up for the program when I purchased the two supplements and didn't cancel before the trial period so I agreed to pay this amount! What! I knew absolutely nothing about a trial period, a program, or anything else related to this matter beyond what the gentleman told me over the phone, which was simply purchasing these two bottles for 4.95 each.
Customer will charge my account $89 per month without my knowledge. Does not state anywyhere that this will happen. Only that is a free trial offer, where i would just pay shipping. Cancelled my subscription immediately
Company charged unauthorized charges on my chagre card after mailing product. Website offers a low cost trial bottle and has no mention of any additional charges. Cutomer Service number on the bottle has no answer. I will be filing wire and fraud charges through my state Attorney General office.
I signed up online to pay the shipping only ($4.99) to try their product, Garcinia. Two weeks later, they charged my account $160!
My call to get the charges reversed was met with an unbelievable runaround, about how I agreed to this and that agreement was binding. I'm a lawyer, who are they kidding?
Only by threatening to expose them everywhere did I get my money back, and even then only after they offered me a free bottle, then a 35% "courtesy refund"; then 50%, then 75%, and finally 100%, all the while telling me that I had no recourse but to pay them because I had "agreed" to this.
Even on their website, there's no mention of this so-called agreement. The fine print must be unintelligible. I can't even read the label on the bottle.
Clearly this is a scam meant to deceive and confuse the consumer. All this with Dr. Oz's apparent online endorsement, which I'm betting is a scam, too.
