I completed printing, notarization, witness signing and document delivery for Vista National/Rick Greenblat, on behalf of First American Title-85204, on June 8, 2017. The agreed fee was $90, which was less than half of what was indicated to be paid out of disbursement of loan funds. I submitted my invoice with the return documents, which were sent directly to First American Title. To date I have not received payment.
I spoke with the Escrow Officer, and she confirmed that Vista National/Rick Greenblat wa paid in June. He has not responded to emails and his phones are disconnected. I was simply told that he has been paid and it was my issue to get payment from him.
I called the CA Secretary of State's Notay Division and they confirmed that Richard Greenblat's CA Notary Commission was suspended in 2007. Way to vet those signing service company owners. He obviously couldn't make any money for himself, so he was having notaries do the work and keeping the payments. Shame on him and the title company!
Accepted a signing for 6/4/17 , have invoiced, emailed an called no answeron phone service , have faxed invoice an collection letter, no response an definite no check , even supplied my pay pal acount to no avail
I was hired to do a closing for Viata National LLC on 3/29/17. The closing occurred on schedule and payment for this service still has not been remitted by Vista. I contacted them via telephone and spoke with Rick Greenblat and was told that he would personally make sure that the check was issued the next day by Chris. He would put the invoice on his desk, that was on May 9, 2017 @ 10:32 AM and still no check. I tried to reach the today, May 31, 2017 4 times but to no avail. The first three times I was disconnected and the fourth time I had to leave a message.
I was brand new to this company and unfortunately agreed to perform a real estate signing on a Saturday morning at 7:00am - pretty short notice too. Rick Greenblat promised to pay on the following Monday via PayPal.
No payment on Monday, nor on the following Monday. When I called his office, Rick complained that his back problems were causing his delay but that he would now mail me a check that day. Then his assistant Kristen left me a voicemail (two days later) that the "check was in the mail." Of course, another week later and there is still no check.
Today, calling the office results in a RUDE Kristen now - how dare I ask for payment? You may not speak to Rick now. I was encouraged to call Title - so what, they don't care.
I was contacted by Rick Greenblat to do a notary signing in Washington. I accepted the assignment and completed the signing with no errors and on-time. If there were errors it was never brought to my attention. I submitted all the required paperwork on May 9th, 2016 to Rick Greenblat.
I've left messages for Rick and sent multiple follow up emails letting him know I never received payment. I have never heard back from Rick Greenblat or anyone from Vista National Notary Services as of today December 8th, 2016.
Extremely disappointed and clearly will never accept another assignment from this company. Hopefully others see this and don't make the same mistake I did.

They don't care to pay their bills.
