Check their terms & conditions and privacy policies
I have almost decided to take their services when I clicked the Terms & conditions and privacy policies it was taking me to their main landing page. Decided that this company is not my type of company to do business with
I decided to do a three day free trial with Viral Proof to see if this company would be a good marketing tool for my company. Upon beginning the 3 day trial, one must enter their PayPal information. With that being said, if a customer decides to end the trial within the 3 day trial period, said customer will not be charged. I subsequently entered my PayPal information; however, within an hour or less, I decided the company would not be a good asset for me; therefore, I cancelled. The following day, I noticed I was charged $29 by the company. I proceeded to contact the owner via email and he stated that they did not have a free trial and the website possibly did not have that updated information.
As a business owner myself, if I fail to update a discount sale on my website and my customer decides to have a service completed at the website price, I must still honor the deal, as it would be my responsibility to update any new information on my website.
As a business owner, my integrity as an owner is extremely important. The owner of Viral Proof just told me to use the site, as I aslready paid for it. My account should have never been charged and he should refund me due to his failure to update the website
